The other day, the President bashed Senator DeMint for making the Obamacare battle personal:

one Republican senator said — and I'm quoting him now — "If we are able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him."Think about that. This is not about me. This is not about politics. It is a health care system that is breaking America's families.

Many of the Democratic/liberal groups like MoveOn and the DNC are using the DeMint statement for fund raising.

Here's the little secret the Democrats don't want you to know, The President Agrees with DeMint. In a meeting with Blue Dogs last week he complained, 'You're going to destroy my presidency. "

No kidding, if the Blue Dogs help to stop this mess I will find the nearest one and treat them to dinner.

The mileage on DU alone would be worth it..

The Blue Dog Democrats (self-described as fiscal conservatives, and some are somewhat socially conservative as well) are beginning to jump ship on Obama’s monster health scheme. Let’s give them every possible encouragement.

• - strangle competitive insurance availability
• - subsidize tens of thousands of abortions
• - apply unethical new standards (such as denial of nutrition/hydration for the elderly and disabled sick as part of “palliative care.”)

Any solution must increase, not decrease, vigorous competition among private insurance and healthcare providers. Only competition provides effective pressure for greater efficiencies. Only competition ensures that services will be provided in the way, the amount, and the manner that we, the people (the "health consumers") actually want. The proposed health-care “public insurance option” is a major threat to every family's ability to make decisions about health and disability, life and death.

But --- government health care?

With all the efficiency of FEMA and all the compassion of the IRS?

I am working my way though this list and have had to make some calls to DC.
The rep in FL was very good as he heard my accent(British accent) and asked how the UK health care was.
I told him how it does not work, how the waiting list is awful and how the money /cost is

So far half way

I hope all the others on here are doing the same as you can bet the move on, KOS, huff post are pressuring them too.
