Here is a question I have not yet seen asked.
If you have a valid LONG FORM birth certificate, then why would you even bother to obtain the 'COLB" (certificate of live birth) that can be given to NON-CITIZENS
I’ve wondered about that myself. Does he have any kind of security clearance?
So it doesn’t exist, because he never asked for it?
I AM NOT BUYING THAT ARGUMENT!
HAS ANYONE ASKED THE STTE OF HAWAII?
WHY *WOULD* ANYONE NOT REQUEST THE LONG FORM?
DONT TRY TO TELL ME “THATS ONLY WHAT HAWAII GIVES OUT”
WHO HERE LIVES IN HAWAII?
The computer-generated Certification has only existed since Novemeber 2001; the ROOT document, created in 1961, is (sitting in a vault) over at 1250 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu.
It should look something like this:
or perhaps this:
But instead of "for DHHL purposes", Mr. Obama might want to change the reason to "for Art II, Section 1, Clause 5 purposes" -- I think the Department of Health in Hawaii will understand what he means ...
let me try again...
The only reason to ASK for a COLB is if you DO NOT HAVE a valid BC - got it?
You can get a COLB if you do not have a BC (not a citizen)
He must not have a BC or else he would have shown that.
I.E. my whole point exactly - you only ask for a COLB if you DO NOT HAVE a BC
baloney
i am NOT buying this argument for one sceond.
If you want your BC (long form) you can get it
7c. County/ and State or Foreign Country
7C is the birth place of the child.
However, my hospital records were burned. My mother was still able to obtain a long form for both my brother and me by going through the aforesaid process. You should be able to get one also.
The point is, if you can't get a long form because your records are missing, then you can't get a COLB either.
Hee hee- send me one of those blank forms
I will fill it out and enclose my own check for $18
Then I will send it certified to the White House and say I love him so much and I want to put the rumors to rest and I will even pay for it
That is what they issue unless you specifically request the long form. In fact, they just a few weeks ago, decided to make the COLB the only one you can get, unless you have “good reason” to need an original BC copy.
It exists. And he may have asked for it for all I know, he just hasn’t released it.
OK
But that's not what you said. You said, "Why would someone ask for a COLB (Certification of Live Birth). The "Certification of Live Birth" is the standard or default copy that HI issues for everyone seeking a certified copy of their birth certificate, and has been for many years.
In fact, if you look at the state's own copy request form, there's no place on the form to indicate that you want a photocopy of your original BC. Don't take my word for it (I'm sure you won't), look at the state's form yourself.

Also of concern for Mr. Obama on the "Certificate of Live Birth," is a block for the hospital name (Block 6c), as well as blocks for a Doctor, Widwife or otherwise to sign as a witness (Blocks 19a & 19b): "I hereby certify that this child was born alive on the date and hour indicated."
Also, I'm sure he's not wanting us to see the SOURCE document, which should be referenced in Block 23 of the "Certificate of Live Birth" -- EVIDENCE FOR DELAYED FILING OR ALTERATION:
... BTW, there may be more than ONE source document...
No. I actually used that several months ago.
I also used the "0bama Commemorative coins have something 0bama does not have. A Certificate of Authenticity.
Nonetheless, it is a very admirable tagline.
Wonder whatever happened to the "Tagline Thread?"
I've had children in both NY and CO and I myself was born in beautiful upstate NY. I've had need of official birth documents from both states. In each case I've dealt with offices in Albany and Denver not Broome, Weld, & Larimer counties, FWIW. Each state sets its own course ... in this matter, at least.
Better yet,
On Page 26 of Dreams of My Father, Obama writes:
I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school,
Did he loose it?
Did he lose it?
The explanation that I remember is that it saved money and time for the Hawaiian Department of Health but mostly money I suspect. It really doesn’t do a thing for the recipient except to hide information.
