Best damn press secretary ever.
No one could get anything over on him. He knew all the tricks, all the issues and he knew everybody. How did Presidential press secretary ever become an “entry-level” job in the first place?

I still remember his last day at work when President Bush showed up and told him he loved him. When I told my husband what President Bush said and he later heard the clip on the radio, he said he just wanted to know whether President Bush tapped his foot after telling Tony he loved him (this was during the Larry Craig foot tapping scandal).
RIP Tony, you are missed.

He was in Detroit when I lived there in the Eighties.
He was one of the only writers on the Detroit News editorial page that I would read.
I was able to talk to him when he gave a presentation at our local community college up here in Petoskey, Mi.
We were about the same age, so I eagerly followed him in subsequent years.
I was in Denver when my oldest brother called me and said that he had passed away.
He was a good man.

I rather think he's still lurking, and smiling.

I was first introduced to Tony when he filled-in for Rush in the late 90’s. Still miss ‘ya, Mr. Snow—Godspeed.
