Cass Sunstein, a Harvard law professor and friend to the national Messiah, has been tapped to head the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. The Wall Street Journal has reported that Sunstein was one of the major influences on a young Obamas attitudes on government regulation and economics, a scary proposition considering the degree to which the Obama administration is attempting to pull us toward Soviet-style communism.
According to the Journal, many of those familiar with Sunsteins work and philosophy have said that his fingerprints are obvious in many of the administrations policies, including credit card reform and the push for climate change legislation, the now-infamous cap-and-trade debacle.
But it is Sunsteins ideas about the First Amendment that make him dangerous to free thought and free exchange of ideas. In Sunsteins last published book, Nudge, he advises that the role of government should be to nudge people into being better human beings, an apparent contradiction to the accepted idea that morality cannot be legislated.
Now, Kyle Smith of the New York Post reported Sunday, the release of Sunsteins next publication, On Rumors: How Falsehoods Spread, Why We Believe Them, What Can Be Done, is imminent. The Harvard professors new book gives us the blueprint for his agenda as Information Overlord in the White House, and it shows why his appointment will potentially be more critical to free speech and the Constitution than the possible confirmation of Judge Sonya Sotomayor, whose Senate hearing is scheduled to begin Monday.
In his new book, according to the Post article, Sunstein warns against the dangers of social networking sites and the false information that can be spread quickly and efficiently through their use...

Buy guns & ammo now.
The “czars” are Obama’s method of bypassing our government system of checks and balances. The czars are ONLY ACCOUNTABLE to him. He is building an army of these goons who will do his dirty-work on America without Congressional oversight and control.
Now, who said “tyrant”??
And do so before they tax ammunition out of sight in a move to institute de facto gun control...
you still must remember that these “czars” have only input -they do not make policy—
I’ve always said obummer’s instituted this czar stuff to create a third party in the US but that will come after
obummer doesn’t get a second term and we move onto a new election year in 2012- these czars are like his personal little private shadow gubmint. bam won’t get a 2nd imho
What a these czars being paid just curious anyone know?
“the false information that can be spread quickly and efficiently through their use...”
You mean like how the State Run Media does it?
Yup. I bought my guns and ammo in 1992-3.
Well, to be fair, Sunstein would not be a “Czar” in the sense that other Obama officials have been termed that. He will run the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs... basically he will be the final word on all government regulations, but his office’s power is very ambiguous and far-reaching, which makes him dangerous.
Name one thing moral about our current Government.
Moral is what the government says it is. It all depends on who is in control. (See Cheshire Cat)
looks like a typical liberal fop.
Yes, we needed liberal elites to protect us from false rumors. Pesky internet!
Thats where tyranny begins and the gates of hell open.

Waco - government roasting humans
Spot on!
Another yid, working to undermine America. Does it ever end?
Historically, Czars generally had unforunate ends. I refer you to Czar Nicholas II and his family. The government needs to come up with a different title for this post. How about apparatchik? Much more appropiate I think.
