Perhaps the single best episode of the Zone ever. It’s certainly on the short list.
One of the best episodes of TZ ever. It is also highly ironic how visionary Mr. Serling was with regard to the direction of our society. America is either stumbling blindly or charging full bore towards absolute nazi-ism.

Terriffic actor and quite the ladies man in his day, as evidenced by “Tom Dick and Harry” (1941).
Rod Serling would be run out of Hollywood on a rail for proposing such a script today.
I saw that when I was a kid, very powerful, to bad Serling was a commie. I am amazed how this propaganda for the left against the right has turned around and indicted the left.

It was a great episode and what appears to be a heroic effort to transcribe but seriously, “innacuranism?”
Bad enough that confusingly was substituted for confusedly and idiocy was rendered idiosy, yet only the very recent viewing and the phrase that followed allowed anachronism to properly replace such an outrage.
Serling’s work remains timeless and unequaled, IMO.
I gave the transcriptionist an “A” for “By rod and by staff they come for me...”, however — makes sense, don’t it!?

another thing -
“Out of the depths, have I called unto thee, . . . Let thine ears be attended to the voice of my suffocations”
Should be “supplication”, I think, and “attentive” instead of “attended” - :)
Although using the word “suffocation” seems to make sense as well! ha
