Our country currently finds itself in the midst of the worst economic crisis since the 1930s and, as during all economic crises, people search for the answer as to why this has happened. Not only have large financial firms been affected, but also mainstays of American industry such as GM and Chrysler, all the way down to the Mom & Pop stores on Main Street. The easy way out is to blame the traditional scapegoats: foreign governments, fraudulent businessmen, and greedy speculators. But the real villain is far more sinister; the organization entrusted with maintaining a stable dollar and touted as the guarantor of economic stability the Federal Reserve.

Actually a good post. I have not had too high an opinion of Ron Paul, but very well written piece.
parsy, who thinks the debt will have to be monetized.
Why audit? Save money. Abolish.

Same folks controlled much of the world during the first Civil War.
No doubt they will raise an army to try once again.
That is Dr. Paul’s ultimate goal. But first we need to assess the extent of the fraud and damage, then make folks aware of it and THEN abolish.
If 60% of Americans watched “The Money Masters” the fed would be gone.
Probably so! Maybe the chairman and the board members would be decorating lamp posts!
That's the plan. I wonder how many people we'll have to put in prison for fraud when it's audited.
BTW, really great blog Freedom Poster!
Hey, how are ya today?
Yes, it would be interesting to see how many Fedsters go to prison... but it would be more satisfying to bring back the honorable tradition of tarring and feathering as we ride them off to prison on a rail!
Thanks and I agree with your statement regarding the Fed.
BUMP!!!
bttt
...Don’t expect to agree with his opinion on all issues, just here him out, and say yea or nay.
Yesterday I was great, but last night I made the mistake of having two glasses of wine (honestly, no more) and today I've got a nasty hangover. I really can't believe that getting older is turning me into such a wimp with alcohol -- but then again that's probably much more than you wanted to know! LOL! (Hope that this finds you & yours well & happy!)

Oh yeah, tar & feathers sound like a great possibility -- but whatever we do, we'd have to make such a terrifying example that no sane person would want to try that level of graft & corruption again anytime soon
