they know she can beat Obama, if she were a Dem they would applaud her and make a statue in her honor, since she is a Conservative Republican who is happily married, with 5 beautiful children, and pro-life, they cant stand it. All the Obama mania media has been talking about for months is how they want Sarah to go away, well, she resigned and what does the media do, talk non-stop about her, what she will do, what her future holds, why the hell do they care, because they are OBSESSED with her and TERRIFIED she will beat Obama

Some fear somewhere? They've been positively terrified of Sarah since her acceptance speech at the GOP convention. ...and that terror will only increase with time.

They should be crapping their pants, wearing Stuart Smalley diapers.

Remember 60k at the villages in Fl.

Got Chambliss 20% more in the GA Senate race after she went down and campaigned for him.......

Please Mrs. Palin, fill the void in our country with true conservatism that we’re yearning for! WHATEVER you do, we’re better off WITH you than w/o you!!!!

What none of the insiders can figure out is why she gave up the “power” of being the Governor of Alaska because THEY would NEVER give up any power in any way. What Sarah is doing is leading rather than managing. She has a vision and is going to be leading everyone who believes in that vision and she will be leading a movement not a party.

I saw the great and powerful Rove on Fox. he was bitching about palin not standing and taking the pain . Not a word about how ugly it has gotten for her family. He must think you have be as stupid as Bush to take the crap from the subhumans and not fight back. He then said it was a bad idea to quit because now she would have to stump for everyone or fall out of favor . I see book deals , speaking engagements and millions of dollars for her and her family.Rove and the rest of the fools are stuck in the past.

This is from the Anchorage Daily News on Sept. 7, 2008:

“Palin is the only major political figure in the past 20 years who regularly comes to Daily News editorial board meetings by herself, with no flunkies or handlers.”

This includes Senators and former governors. There is NO WAY an airhead would EVER show up alone in that forum.

That’s great insight - I believe you’re right. Sarah is leading, not following.

For anyone who wants to know if the left fear Palin go over to Huffington Post and look at the non stop coverage of her. They also love to publish unflattering pics of her in mid speech etc. I think they are very afraid and actually more afraid now after her resignation speech. A mother of a soldier in Iraq and a special needs baby and they try to destroy her, they must pay.

Excellent points...Rove lost me when he wasn’t able to stop Bush and his amnesty push - which lead directly to the Congress we have. Rove seemed to have NO CLUE how much that debate (along with runaway spending) was driving the grass-roots away from the party.

I appreciate Rove for helping to elect Bush in 2000 and 2004, but his time as a political genius ended shortly after that 2004 election. He is now an angry old man that no one is interested in...while Sarah could be as rich as Rush, if she wanted to head in that direction (which she won’t...she’ll go for top job...if nothing else, as payback to the media and the Democrats).

I'm beginning to think they believe that Sarah will break down the White House gates, overpower the presidential security force, and whoop Obama's ass in the Oval Office.

Obama is like their Carter, so the left adore him, Sarah is like Reagan, so that is why the left hate her

That's pretty much the simplicity of the calculus.

Scared - please that is a joke. They are high fiving from coast to coast.

As much as they would have loved Obama v. Palin (would be worse than Reagan-Mondale for the challenger) they are pretty happy to see that she’s finished.

Simply put, we hate most what we fear. Considering the ongoing 24/7/365 negative, hysterical coverage of Palin, it is more then obvious they are desperately afraid of her.
