I’m With Sarah!

Millions of liberals rejoiced and thousands of Republicans heaved a sigh of relief Friday as Sarah Palin announced her decision to resign as Alaska's governor. In her usual forthright manner, Gov. Palin made clear that she was not content to squander her time on 'politics as usual'. Here, here.

Sarah Palin has withdrawn from the arena she describes as "superficial wasteful political blood sport." She, like millions of Americans, is tired of 'politics as usual'.

On Saturday, Palin issued a message on social networking site Facebook saying, "I am now looking ahead to how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint."

Palin has made the same choice many conservatives are starting to make, opting to "effect positive change outside of government." Politics as usual no longer represents the 62 million Americans who didn't vote for Obama. Disenfranchised citizens now have no say on the the takeover of our country by radical forces and, like Sara, they are starting to seek solutions outside the political realm. Many are coming to the realization that election to public office may no longer be the best way to serve our country.

Any effective leader on the right, any conservative with the guts to stand on the principles long since abandoned by the GOP, can expect election to public office to be a waste of time and effort. A lot of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Where political ambitions trump sound policy. Where the ability to lie convincingly is mandatory and misleading the public is essential to re-election.

I am not sure she is the best candidate for President yet, but I do think she can do real well in uniting the Conservative movement behind the cause of limited government, energy independence, and traditional values. If she can help architect the GOP turn around, then she will be the leading candidate 2012.

I could support her, but she needs to be smart about the next 3 years. What is she going to do? She needs to get somewhere that she can gain significant foreign policy experience.

Let me float a trial balloon out there for anyone’s comment. Lost in the mess of the David Letterman commentary was where Sarah was, and who she was with. She was there with Rudy.

Now, I know FR isn’t exactly the Rudy Fanclub, and he wasn’t my first choice last year either, but I like him better than McCain, I think he would have a better chance at winning (than McCain).

While not a social conservative, he hasn’t gone out of the way to thumb conservatives in the eye either. The 2012 election is going to be about the economy and probably national defense. If he could agree to a “non agression” pact with conservatives on judicial appointments and fed funding for abortion, gay rights and the like, he and Sarah could be a winning combonation, and that could prep her for the Presidency in 2020.

I agree with your statement. We just have to wait and see. She already said she will travel the country spreading the message of Conservatism. If she can continue to fight for the Constitution and unite the Conservative movement, she will soar and become the next President of the United States

Many are coming to the realization that election to public office may no longer be the best way to serve our country.

Who, in their right mind, would want to put their families through the crap from lowlife 'RAT scumbags that Sarah and her family were put through? The people in this country should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to go on. Laughing at jokes from liberal morons about a baby with Down syndrome? Have we really stooped that low in this country?

Right of wrong, I am going to assume Sarah will be running for president this term.

Hence, I would like to see her end each major speech: “Mr. Obama, show us your birth certificate.”

I assure you this will unglue Obama and each one of those crooks like we have never seen before in our history.

YES!

I don’t give a hoot who ‘they’ say is next in line. I will NEVER vote for Romney. If it hadn’t been for McCain doing the one and only thing that would have EVER allowed me to vote for him..... I would not have participated in the last election at all. I was so disgusted and fed up with all of them. But McCain, bless his little Rino heart....gave me someone to vote FOR. He gave me Sarah Palin..... and introduced her to the national stage.

Yes, I am with Sarah Palin.
