Are Americans Really This Stupid?

Recently, my wife and I were invited to “Grandparents’ Day” at one of our grandkid’s Jewish pre-school. The kids were rounded-up and as a group sang several songs, most pitching the Global Warming Hoax or Multicultural Diversity. Then we were invited back to the classroom for an informal session talking with teachers and watching the kids play.

Our grandson stood under a Rainbow Coalition poster for a picture and then joined others around the big Lego box. Our grandkid is talented and builds some impressive stuff with these colorful blocks and shapes. He knows I flew in the Navy, and while his understanding of naval aviation is, of course, limited, he wanted to please me by building a Lego airplane. In short order he had created a colorful kid’s version of a “Navy airplane.” My wife started asking him about this and that appendage, and when she asked about one structure, he said, “That’s the gun.”

The kid sitting next to him had a violent reaction. Spinning to address my grandson and us he yelled, “Guns are not allowed! Guns are bad!” before running over to a teacher. My grandson didn’t understand what was happening and his face fell. My wife then instructed him to remove the “gun” before we were arrested, or worse. Fortunately, no further mention was made of the episode and we finished our visit listening to several Obama supporters (they were ALL Obama supporters) gush over him (“He’s so smart, not like that redneck Bush!”)

Isn’t such brainlessness imposed upon children child abuse?

I realize that one episode such as this is not statistically significant, but even so -- how have American Liberals in general, and American Jews in particular -- become so stupid and reflexively anti-self defense? On this 4th of July weekend, I have to wonder at the mindset of European Jews only seventy-five years ago as they watched the gathering storm while congratulating one another on their passivity and cultural and educational superiority.

I don’t like the idea of calling this “child abuse.” Once you make it a crime for parents to instill their political values onto their children (whether directly or through choice of school), that will end up being used against anyone with “unusual” ideas (such as opposition to global warming hysteria, or someone who refuses to acknowledge the divinity of The One).

Liberal parents have as much right to instill their beliefs and values onto their kids as do conservatives.

The grandmosther should've said, "Son, there's absolutely nothing wrong with guns that are used by good people to protect our nation from evil people who want to make war and take everything the good people have. If that silly boy gets any of the teachers to complain about this, I'll back you up 100%."

Did your son/daughter put your grandson in that school?

I make sure I tell my kids what political correctness is, how public-factory schools and bureaucracies work, what confirmity is, and what my wife and I believe to be the actual truth.

Talk to your Grandson. Don’t count on the schools to raise him.

Well, I’m glad that one self-identified Jewish person has woken up to see that in the U.S> “Jewish” means “wing of hte Democratic Party”. He should do all he can to get his grandson removed from that school, and do a Paul Revere to alert any other Jews he knows who could be woken out of their neo-Bolshevik trance.

You should have gently and forcefully explained to the administrator that the continued indoctrination against your beliefs by people who's salary you paid would be met with a lawsuit.

You should have explained about the deviancy of the retarded Obama and explained in no uncertain terms as to what they should be teaching.

I would have included that the ignorance and stupidity of todays teachers explains much about the problems in todays society and everything about how a contemptible con man and miscreant like Obama was able to get elected in the first place.

Than explain to your ignorant child why you would advise them to find a better day care center for your grandchild.

Liberal parents don't have values, and schools don't have the right to “indoctrinate” children with liberal ideals.
Contrary to liberal doctrine, the idea that you must be open to all ideas and accepting of all beliefs is crap.
Many of the oft promoted liberal beliefs are nothing more than forcing people to accept immoral and amoral behavior.

So this is going on in Jewish schools?

Well....My daughter taught in a **Catholic** school where **all** ( everyone) the teachers and the principal voted for abortion promoting Obama. And...They took every opportunity to show the students how thrilled they were that Obama had been elected.

Wait until your grandson becomes a little older and they start teaching him how homosexuality is good and anyone who says it is wrong is an evil bigot. Or how or country is evil and those who serve in the military are warmongers who kill innocent women and children in service of the capitalist ruling class. Or how law enforcement people are all racists who oppress the downtrodden. You are just seeing a tiny part of the indoctrination process that is being imposed on our children.

This was a private pre-school. Not defending the public ones, just clarifying.

From the article, this appears to be a private Jewish school, so the usual objection to indoctrination don't apply. The parents sending their kids here have chosen to have these beliefs instilled in them.

Nonsense. I know a number of liberal parents with great values. Politics is just a small part of a person.

I guess it depends on where you live. My friend teaches in a semi-rural community, grades peak during hunting season. That is what most of the parents use as a tool, bad grades or behavior, no hunting!

BTW, I am now going to be homeschooling my son, the crap he has brought home the past few years is ridiculous! I have had enough, school is really dumbing down our children!
