Is Secretary of State Clinton on the way out?

There appears to be a rift developing between President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton. It was bound to happen sometime. Her job has been diluted by four special envoys that report, not to her, but directly to the President. Her cabinet position was a buyoff to gain the Clintons’ support after Obama’s nomination. I reported on a secret meeting between Bill Clinton and candidate Obama in Harlem on 9/11, where no doubt a deal was made.. But deals between political enemies are short lived, especially when their purpose has been served. Obama got what he wanted, her heavily female loyalists and the presidency. She is excess baggage now -- especially when she challenges him on a critical issue.

The first sign of friction came in a leak to the Washington Times yesterday that she and Obama had been on different wavelengths on the Iran crackdown. It goes on to say when Obama finally toughened his position, he blindsided

Yet obama’s total incompetence is making that a possibility yet again by 2012. obama- the one man who can make Hillary look good even to republicans

For the first time in my life I may have, just possibly might, have a teeny, tiny, infinitesimally small scintilla of sympathy and empathy for Herself, The Beast, Her Thighness, Hillary The Rod Clinton.

Even she is starting to look good compared to The Won, The Messiah, The TOTUS, His Sissy Boy Majesty, Barapcrap Hussein Obammy The Hammy Whammy and his oh so lovely bride.

Don't be too sure. Hussain is an empty suit but whoever is pulling the strings is pretty savvy. I hate to bring in the tinfoil hat but I see Hussain as part of an orchestrated plan to bring this country down to the level of a 3rd rate European power. It explains why our Dear Leader is doing things, not stupid but actually harmful and dangerous to the country. I really don't think Hussains handlers are going to let the Clintons get in the way.

My feeling is that Hillary will be eased out and she won't upset the apple cart on her way out.

My major thought is that Obama is a real "woman are inferior" person....and any position "granted" by the great one is for purely political reasons.

I never thought of Hillary as a centrist, but by comparison to Obama, she almost seems like one. I also would take sides with her (if I had to choose between the two), and I think Bill Clinton was a much better president than Obama is turning out to be. Obama reminds me more of Jimmy Carter.

There has always been bad blood between the Obama and Clinton camps, but most figured she would hang in there until late 2010 and form an exploratory committee to run for president in early 2011. She has the best political advisor in her husband, and it may well be he sees the new administration headed in a suicidal direction. Is it Obama tiring of Clinton or the other way around? Probably a bit of both. And I doubt it will get any better soon.

I still think this is the current plan, a la Kennedy in 1980 challenging Carter, if Obama continues to decline in support. There really isn't a "good" outcome for this scenario, except for entertainment value...
