The Worst Thing About the Bruhaha Over the New Palin Hit Piece
The Provocateur ^ | 07/01/2009 | Mike Volpe

The worst thing is that it gives this long, tedious, very poorly written hatchet job publicity it doesn't deserve. At about 9000 words, it's almost a chapter in a book. The piece is full of unsupported accusations, digs by unnamed sources, as well as leaps made frankly out of the clear blue sky. The first paragraph is a sign of things to come.

Despite her disastrous performance in the 2008 election, Sarah Palin is still the sexiest brand in Republican politics, with a lucrative book contract for her story. But what Alaska’s charismatic governor wants the public to know about herself doesn’t always jibe with reality. As John McCain’s top campaign officials talk more candidly than ever before about the meltdown of his vice-presidential pick, the author tracks the signs—political and personal—that Palin was big trouble, and checks the forecast for her future.

Is the glass half-empty, or is it half-full?

The more the Left attacks Palin, the more they keep her in the limelight.

There is no such thing as bad publicity.

Palin’s disastrous performance. She was pulling 30,000-60,000 people to her events. Somehow Palin was a disaster, but Joe “Stand Up Chuck” Biden was brilliant despite his long list of major screw ups. According to him, FDR went on tv to talk to the American people in 1929 and 1930, even though there was no tv and there was no FDR in the White House until 1932.

“Despite her disastrous performance in the 2008 election,”

Her performance was just fine.

The Couric “interview” was a fraud. It was an edited tape chopped up to make Sarah look bad.

that’s true, but that goes for Pardum as well as Palin. Just think about how many hits his piece has generated. Just think about how much his profile has been improved. Frankly, Palin will be attacked a lot until 2012. I could go without the extra pub for Pardum.

Never heard of him.

Didn't even read his story.

The only people who are going to read his story are people who hate Palin anyway, so no harm done there.

I hate to break it to you but just because you didn’t read it doesn’t mean it wasn’t read. It’s featured in politico, fox news, among many many online pubs and all have a link to the story. That means he gets exposure he never would have gotten.

Pardum is the husband of Dee Dee Myers, Clintoon’s former Press Secretary. These incestuous Democrat ties to “journalists” is why we hate the media.

Evidently you didn't read what I said.

I said that the only people who will read it are people who already hate Palin.

What difference does it make if he gets a tiny bit of notice among Liberals?

People like him are a dime a dozen these days. Anybody with a PC and an Internet connection is a pundit.

Her disasterous 2008 was because she was shackled to a democrat, McCain. In this last election we didn’t have a repub candidate. We had a traditional dimrat and an African marxist. If not for her, Mcshame would have been completely blown out. You macshame morons ought to actually listen to repub voters. Most of them voted FOR Palin, not your guy.

If Palin was such a disaster that they claim, there wouldn’t be getting any hits on their site. THEY KNOW she’s #1 in the hearts of conservatives. They all want to make some bucks off of Palin and that includes DaveThePervert.

We will continue to get losers for candidates as long as non-republicans can vote in primaries.

The first paragraph is a sign of things to come.

First paragraph? I stopped reading at the first sentence.

Despite her disastrous performance in the 2008 election,...

No free concerts or beer here. Just a typical Sarah Palin rally.

There is no such thing as bad publicity.

In this case there is. As long as the RNC and the liberal wing running the party don't get behind her, she is being damaged. Your average dumbass voter that is part of the so called "moderate" block sees the media shredding her daily and the party doing nothing and thinks all of this character assassination must be founded in fact.

Sorry to say it, but there are still a lot op people that take everything from the MSM as gospel. And gospel is just the right term for these dolts, because they worship the government.

You are absolutely wrong.

The RNC and the RINOs will never get behind her.

If you are depending upon them, then the GOP nominee will be another McCain.

The fact that you love RINOs betrays you as one.
