This past Friday was the official grand opening of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center. Local non-Muslims fought for years to try and stop this center from becoming a reality, but as usual Muslims did not care about what anyone else wants. They also showed this by rudely broadcasting the call to prayer outside the Mosque for all to hear and back in November of 2008 when the Mosque reinstated Walid Fitaihi to their board. Fitaihi's anti-Semitic statements in the past led to public pressure which forced him to resign.

Welcoming jihadi-enablers into our country is not in our self interest.
Given Massachusetts being what it is, we could try to stop this by citing them for violating noise ordinances five times a day. Or sue them to make sure they allow gay men to attend.
Hey, now THAT's an idea, come to think of it.
Let's sponsor "Homosexual missionary groups" to Muslim countries.
Cheers!
Anyone try to visit Saudi Arabia as a tourist? Why are they so closed to Westerners?
Any opposition to them helps.
Thanks.
Maybe they would let Franklin Graham open up a Christian exhibit museum of what he has done in the rest of the world in Mecca?
Sounds like another politician just begging Muslims to like him. It does not work, they are just using him. But of course he cannot figure that out.
Nope...never happen. The Boston branch of the ACLU would be all over this screaming "freedom of religion".
Or sue them to make sure they allow gay men to attend.
Now **that** sounds like a good idea.Boy,the fur would really fly around here in such a battle!
I’m still waiting for that Vatican-funded Christian center to be built in Saudi Arabia.
It seems to be in the self interest of our government.
They just do not represent us.
Sounds fair to me. Respect is SUPPOSED to be a two-way street.
Given that he has the IQ of a potted plant he can't even figure out the average umbrella.
Will it be under volunteer surveillance 24/7, with video of all comings and goings?
If not, maybe the bomb factory in the basement needs to have an “accident”.
Lol! Doesn’t say much for those who voted for him.
“Let’s sponsor “Homosexual missionary groups” to Muslim countries”.
...I thought they were already up to thier necks with homos?! Or was that pedophiles? I forget!
Took my thoughts word for word my friend. In the name of Political Correctness we have become a suicidal country . I give the USA 10 years tops before it becomes the garbage can of the world.
Officially, as Ahmadinejad said, there are no homosexuals.
So either they "need" missionaries, or they "need" to come out of the closet.
Either way, American conservatism wins. I'll get the popcorn.
Cheers!
For all their outcry against homosexuality, Muslim men are big practitioners. What hypocrites.
A few of us here been trying to point out for years that establishing special rights - especially special property rights - for religious organizations is a bad idea.
Nevertheless, their special rights have not only been protected but radically extended in recent years - and worse, in their desire to advance their own narrow interests, various religious groups via Supreme Court rulings have written their special rights into the Constitution, and made it almost impossible for communities to control their behavior on the basis of commonsense regulation.
So now we have reached the point where church, or a synagogue, or a mosque or I suppose even a coven - if it’s membership is large and vocal enough and its lawyers skillful enough - can pretty much entirely circumvent zoning and other regulations and build pretty much what it pleases where it pleases, largely irrespective of reasonable controls on such construction and development.
And add insult to injury, taxpayers are required by law to support such development via the exemption of religious organizations from property taxation even as they have been stripped of the ability to control how such contributions are used.
