Michael Jackson is dead, and it is sad.
As a kid, I loved Michael Jacksons music. But, even as a kid in 1982, there was something wrong that many of us kids could not put a true finger on. The whole glove thing and the constant costumes and the manner were somehow off from what was thought of an innocent kid that was born in Gary, Indiana and once sang so honestly with his brothers.
But what we did know during those times was that Michael Jackson could sing and dance, and his music was the one thing that whites and blacks could agree on during on those years. We all rallied around music it seemed during those days. We danced to his songs at parties and admired our friends that had the cash to buy Thriller jackets. Those were special times.

Whose finger to whom is my question.
Meanwhile back at the ranch thousands will be lining up on West Grand Blvd. to pay tribute to a wasted freak junkie tomorrow.
Don’t give a damn.

More gushy gushy goo goo!
It would be nice to see the media, such as it is, get back to our real problems in the White House and the Congress....
I didn’t like Michael Jackson even when his music was new. Of course in the ‘80’s, I was a metal head. Kind of interesting, the MSM is going ga ga over MJ but not much on Farah Fawcett who was much more normal or the crap that Congress is trying to pull on the American public.
You mean his "friendship" with Webster didn't give it away?
It is no wonder that conservatives get a bad name when hearing trash about AIDS and “who cares” etc.
I understand the feelings. But the lack of character and decorum is a F’ing annoyance.
Get real on the commentary. It is no wonder that people voted for Obama since, apparently, conseravtives, have become some sort of reactionary intellectually-devoid idiocy.
Words fail me.
Not likely. Little boys usually don't carry it.
Kind of ironic that, had he been convicted and spent the last 4 years in a cell, he'd probably be healthy as a horse by now; except for the mangled nose.
Don't ya just love it when a noob comes along professing his "conservatism" then tells us where we went wrong?
I think conservatism has gotten a bad name from unthinking and unintellectual reactionary commentary. And if that offends you, brother, then so be it.
I am probably more right that you can ever imagine, but how one comments on and addresses issues is vitally important.
And while the issue of Michael Jackson's death may be welcome news for some, the reaction to the same seen thus far is a F’ing embarrasment.
I think in order for conservatism to thrive it needs to find a better way of getting its message accross.
From what I have seen tonight, most conservatives better learn how to temper their emotions and write.
If you don't like what we have to say here noob, get lost....I'm sure DU will welcome you with open arms
Webster was the only one of the two who got any attention.
I got the hint that MJ was a freaky cakeboy from that
point on.
