Jonah Goldberg's book "Liberal Fascism" has a fairly comprehensive section in it about Hitler's hatred and subversion of Christianity in Germany while he was in power. This is important because the Left has tried - with great success - to lump Hitler, Fascism, anti-Semites and Christianity together as part of a "right wing" Nazi "package." This could not be further from the truth, but it continues to work, as when the socialist, anti-Christian, anti-Semite nut and killer von Brunn was labelled "right wing."

Jonah has excerpted part of his book dealing with Hitler's plans to destroy Christianity.

It is one of the triumphs of the Left that they have been able to label Nazis as right wing for nearly 70 years. The exact point at which the Nazis (National Socialist Worker's Party) became "right wing" was when the Germans attacked their allies, the Russians, and Josef Stalin re-labelled Adolf Hitler as a right-winger. The Left has been doing it ever since.

Hitler's Socialist party was only different from the Bolsheviks in that he mixed in a strong Nationalism and hatred of the Jews. He admired Benito Mussolini, who was a strong Socialist until World War I, then added nationalism to form Fascism.

You gotta remember that the Conservative German Junker Generals despised Hitler ("the little Corporal"), yet they made a deal to back him, if Hitler got rid of his gay lover Ernst Rohm (who he called "du", a term of affection) and the Brownshirts, who didn't hide their homosexuality, Socialism, and anti-Semitism. The "Night of the Long Knives", along with the Nazis trying to push a more family-friendly image with the German public, gave Hitler the backing from the Army he needed to begin his plans to conquer the world.

Totalitarian governments (Like Obamas) cannot have an alternate focus for authority (GOD) competeing with the state. They must eliminate it. Ref; USSR, China, etc. etc.

Hitler hated Christianity and called it a “weak, Jewish religion.” The Nazis subverted all the German churches they could, and pastors who resisted were some of the first concentration camp (work camp) inmates.
