(sigh)..i was sooo much happier when i was clueless about political stuff. i just went about my day, not worrying about cap and tax, healthcare destruction, amnesty for illegals...etc. now i always feel stressed by what the morons are doing in d.c. i wish i could abandon political knowledge but once you’re in you just can’t get out.

From your mouth to God’s hear, my FRiend. Our local energy company said prices would go up 25% if this bill passes. It gets hot in the summer and down right arctic in the winter. I need my energy. I would also like to eat while I heat my house.

Obama even said it himself in Jan of 08 ... “under my cap and trade plan, energy prices will necessarily skyrocket.”

You won’t be driving a car and you won’t have electricity but a few hours a day. We will be living in third world conditions while the elite eat $125/lb steaks and live in mansions (exempt from carbon emissions limits, of course).

Yes, and I was shocked to hear him proudly say (during his campaign) that his policies (cap and trade) will bankrupt coal plants, too. What a creep.
Thanks for posting that. It’s the first time I saw the smug little bastard in video. But I do recall hearing the audio more than once during the campaign.
Obama’s energy tax will screw the little people nicely. The trick will be making the dummies recognize the source of their pain, so that they will vote correctly. Cap and trade is much less of a problem than Obamacare, because, unlike health care, it will not acquire a constituency. Rather, quite the opposite.
If not, then hopefully there will be a coup.
