All SANE Americans...(40% conservative, 30% "moderate")...and maybe even some insane liberals(21%)....
..are watching what is going on in Iran as we speak, and having their resolve hardened to never, ever let the "government" take away their weapons.
It could be argued that the "unrest" in Iran is another gift to the United States from God as an instruction on just how easy it is to lose the gift of freedom.
I personally think that the lunatic mullas's natural, primative instincts will take over soon, any desire for "world approval" gone, and they will order the killing of as many innocent people as it takes to make the "demonstrators" go home, shut up, and cower in their corner......
....just think what would be accomplished if the Iranian people were armed.....
I have been watching the videos coming out of Iran and I agree, they do offer an excellent lesson for us. We need to remain armed and ready.
Well, support for gun control is already at a historic low, with only 28% of the population supporting it, presently...
BO is worried that a strong centralized, oppressive government being vehemently challenged by the people will also happen in the U.S.
Well,,for starters, the Iranian government would find itself in a real pickle if their people widely owned Glocks, Some remington 12 gauge pumps, some lever action 30-30s, and some scoped remington 700s. An assault rifle adds some flair,,
Im watching them and understanding why democrats HATE our guns with such a passion. The guns represent a firm line on how far they can go,,,and they know it.
“The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed—where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once”.
Judge Alex Kozinsky
Do you think the FBI and Homeland Insecurity will have enough people to “monitor/watch” the Tea Parties on the 4th of July?
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Now do you understand?
The protests and riots in Iran could have ceased immediately if the Army had sided with either the demonstrators or the ayatollahs.
Yes...a perfect example of radical Islam. Steal, kill, and destroy. Sound like anyone else you know of?
Will the people in Hawaii have their usual celebrations on July 4 in anticipation of a possible NORK missile?
Works for the commies and socialists. Look how they silence the GOP with just criticism. My wife believes the Dims have something on the pubbies. I have come to believe she is correct. Blackmailed as it were.
“Now do you understand?”
One journalist did. I wish I could remember who it was, but one of the talking heads said, “What can they do without guns?” I wonder if they realized the implication.
..the events in Iran have already done their work here at home and have doomed any hope that liberals have of "gun control".
No sane American will give up their guns now, even if they were tending that way before...
...people understand what Obama's objective is when he wants to start a "private police force" with strength and equipped like the military. Everybody understands what that means..
....they can imagine and understand the implications of ACORN and Black Panther thugs showing up at your home to check if you have illegal weapons......
...looks on the map like a short shot to me...
Mel Gibson saying “They make take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”
Would make a great Youtube to go with the Iranian videos.
Adak has been pretty much decommissioned. The last time I was there was in ‘81 and it was primarily a refueling stop for commercial flights to Shemya AFB which has also been cut way back.
The main purpose for both of those bases was simply to keep track of Russia. With the advances in satellite technology that’s all done from orbit now. I doubt there’s more than a hundred people on Adak now and most of them are civilian.
