I have been watching the videos coming out of Iran and I agree, they do offer an excellent lesson for us. We need to remain armed and ready.

Well, support for gun control is already at a historic low, with only 28% of the population supporting it, presently...

BO is worried that a strong centralized, oppressive government being vehemently challenged by the people will also happen in the U.S.

Well,,for starters, the Iranian government would find itself in a real pickle if their people widely owned Glocks, Some remington 12 gauge pumps, some lever action 30-30s, and some scoped remington 700s. An assault rifle adds some flair,,

Im watching them and understanding why democrats HATE our guns with such a passion. The guns represent a firm line on how far they can go,,,and they know it.

“The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed—where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once”.

Do you think the FBI and Homeland Insecurity will have enough people to “monitor/watch” the Tea Parties on the 4th of July?

Attention Democrats, Liberals, and Independents:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Now do you understand?

I personally think that the lunatic mullas's natural, primative instincts will take over soon, any desire for "world approval" gone, and they will order the killing of as many innocent people as it takes to make the "demonstrators" go home, shut up, and cower in their corner......

Yes...a perfect example of radical Islam. Steal, kill, and destroy. Sound like anyone else you know of?

Works for the commies and socialists. Look how they silence the GOP with just criticism. My wife believes the Dims have something on the pubbies. I have come to believe she is correct. Blackmailed as it were.

Mel Gibson saying “They make take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”

Would make a great Youtube to go with the Iranian videos.

Once socialized medicine becomes the law of the land, the little speck of freedom that we do enjoy will be permanently lost. The reality is that Americans lost their freedom over a century ago. Ever since the Supreme Court rejected Natural Law and strict originist interpretation of the Constitution, we have been living under a tyranny of men, not law. The destruction of state's rights and the empowerment of the federal government, which is supported by the Supreme Court, has landed us in the position that we now find ourselves. Freedom is an illusion.

How can you lose what you have already lost?

I am talking about BOTH Iran and the United States!

What both countries must do is to "Reclaim" their freedoms.

The difference is -
Iran lost their freedom instantaneously many years ago and they know specifically what they lost.
We have been losing our freedoms slowly over time and many (if not most) people do not understand the full scope and ramification of that fact.

We are like the frog in a slowly heated bucket of water. By the time we realize what has happened it is to late to do anything about it.

We are not at that later state of being unable to do something about leaping from the bucket back to our safety and freedom but we are close. We are however not motivated to action either.

I am and maybe you are however most are not willing to take the first step (myself included) as I have been burnt in the past by being first out of the gate and having others stand by and watch to see what happens to me.
