Astonishing. From Jimmy Arone at Big Hollywood, a roundup of Bill Maher's Real Time monologue from last Friday night:
In defending his friend, Maher thought Republicans had over reacted and this was just a case of ‘fake’ outrage. Much ado about nothing. He then went on talking about how Letterman had invited Sarah Palin and her young daughter, Willow, to appear as guests on his show but the Governor declined because she thought it would be wise to keep her daughter away from him. Said Maher, “…that’s right, he’s 62 years old, he’s gonna [f**k] her right there on stage…it would be very wise to keep her, very wise, yes. You know, I’d worry a little more about the 18-year old hockey players who knock up your daughters.” To which his audience of trained seals laughed and clapped and had a good old time.
Got HBO? Cancel it. And tell them why.
I can’t cancel HBO, because I haven’t been their customer for decades. Besides, when I want to watch a movie, I rent one. It’s less money and I am in control.
I can’t quit watching Bill Maher, because I already don’t and won’t. I consider him a little man with a big mouth. Maher is many things, a comedian he’s not.
He’s nothing but a filthy little man, trying to be a shock jock with the doper crowd.
Why should I care what a nappy headed HOst has to say?
I think the real reason they should keep Bristol away from Letterman is because she probably would have kicked the old SOB’s ass!
His audience of trained seals,he must be using Letterman’s audience.
I haven’t had tv in over a decade - I still want a list of sponsors for all these creeps so I know where not to spend my money.
The second Bill Maher said that the terrorists who struck on 9/11 were “Brave” that is when I knew this dude wasn’t playing with a full deck.

Who watches this guy? Not me, EVER. Even if Ann Coulter did say she likes him.
The young puke generation watches this guy. That’s the problem. And since, by law, these half-brained twits are allowed to vote, Maher, a half-brained twit himself, brainwashes the ill-informed and lazy...
If Maher would spend as much time informing himself as he does trying to be clever he might one day be worth listening to.
I guess if it worked for Couric and Letterman, it will probably work for Maher...
Next time we hear ole Bill fantasizing about raping Christians, women and children we will understand the limpness of his desperation.
I wonder if Ann Coulter will continue to appear on his show?
Apparently ,Time-Warner is still the owner of HBO/Cinemax . In addition to canceling these services, there are some other places to attack. Namely all of the other Time-Warner subsidiaries.
Among its subsidiaries are AOL, New Line Cinema, Time Inc., HBO, Turner Broadcasting System, The CW Television Network, TheWB.com, Ubu Productions, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Kids’ WB, The CW4Kids, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, CNN, DC Comics, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Mohawk Productions.
He was long ago boycotted as was HBO....no traction here.
