Nope, he’s not smart enough or capable enough... LOL...
However, what Obama does illustrate (and that’s what he’s good for..., an “illustration”) — is that it’s easy for people to “grasp” at a “savior type” in order to bail them out of whatever circumstances concern them.
The world in the near future will have some kiind of very smart, powerful and well-heeled “savior-type” who will come along and people will flock to.
Obama simply isn’t smart enough or capable enough....

That said, I thought this article stressed the ridiculous adoration that he himself encouraged and nicely summarized the ways in which his trance-induced followers announced his role as our new deity.
Obama has certainly replaced Carter as our worst President.
In fact, when I saw Carter on the telly last week, I was astonished at how much my loathing of him (still huge) had diminished.

That appears to me to be at the time Satan is tossed out of heaven with a third of the angels, at the midpoint of the Tribulation time (Rev 12). It’s when Satan sees that his time is short and when Satan gives the antichrist his power and he declares himself to be god in the holy place (as Jesus spoke about). That’s the point at which the wrath of God comes down upon him and that all hell breaks loose, at that point in time.
Now, before that happens, in the prior 3-1/2 years, the antichrist has to come into power and consolidates his position over the world. I don’t see Europe accepting Obama very well, and they probably laugh at him. And I don’t see the Muslims accepting Obama very well either, and laughing, likewise. And in addition, I don’t see the Israelis appreciating Obama very well, either, much less coming to some final 7-year agreement, which starts off the Tribulation.
So, Obama looks more like a cartoon picture of the antichrist, rather than the antichrist himself... LOL...
Actually, that would be the ideal way for the antichrist to enter the world stage. If he entered in full Satanic regalia, he would scare the Judeo/Christian part of the world sh!tless and put his enemies on full alert.

With all due respect, I think that this assessment is wrong. It seems that a certain percentage can “see through” Obama, while other “seemingly intelligent” people cannot. I really do not know why this is. I will say, just as speculation, I have come to learn about myself that I cannot be hypnotized. I learned this about 13 years ago when I was trying to quit smoking. I don’t know if this makes any difference, but I have seen through this man since day one.
However, my point is that there are a large number of folks who perceive that he is the smartest man alive. Furthermore, he has certainly proven his capability in mobilizing these hypnotized sheep into electing him. So as it matters to acquisition of power is concerned, he is as smart and as capable as was needed.
I am not a particularly religious man. I believe in a creator and an afterlife, but I am not sure if descriptions are provided are accurate, they may well be, but it’s hard to be sure. I also believe in Good and Evil. It seems that amongst humans, some souls are visibly good and pure, while others are the darkest evil. The person holding the position of Most Powerful Man in the World, Chief Law Enforcement Officer, and Protector of Freedom is counted in the latter. This is no surprise, it is exactly where I would expect to find him. From here he can do the most damage.

The Antichrist wouldn’t be entering upon the world scene as a “devil character” in any case. The Bible never presents him as entering that way. The entrance of Satan and his powers into the antichrist at the midpoint is a supernatural event, but it doesn’t make him “look” or appear like the devil. And as we have seen from what the Bible says, the devil appears as an angel of light, and not as a scary figure, anyway...
But, in the beginning the Antichrist does have to be accepted by Europeans, by Muslims and by Israelis. I mean, he’s going to enforce an agreement between Israelis and Muslims, and he’s going to have the center of his power based out of a confederacy of Europeans countries.
Besides that, at the point the antichrist is “revealed” to the world, and then he does engage in that 7-year agreement with Israel — if Christians are still here seeing that, then they’ve missed the Rapture... LOL...
Anyway, I’m afraid that Obama just doesn’t have what it takes to be that kind of man to the Europeans, or the Israelis or the Muslims. He just doesn’t have what it takes.

I won’t go so far as to say he is the antichrist himself. He will have to impress the world a whole lot more with his intellect and knowledge than he is doing now to fit the position, and so far, all he is doing is showing he is an idiot and a butt-kissing appeaser. A popular idiot, but an idiot. The antichrist won’t need a teleprompter.
But the spirit of the antichrist I feel, is in him. Since Obama was elected things seem to be moving way too fast not to see that something BIG, and terrifying has been set in motion. Something apocalyptic set loose, something foreseen by the prophet Daniel.
When I was a young Christian in the 1970’s I got caught up in all of those end-time books lining the bibles book stores shelves. The most notable was Hal Lindseys, The Late Great Planet Earth. Although they were fascinating reading, so much of it seemed like too far fetched to believe it could happen in my life time.
CASHLESS SOCIETY?
In the 1970’s the thought of using a debit card almost anyplace, including vending machines and parking lots seems just too far out. Well today I go weeks without paper money or coin. I can probably can go without it all together, if it wasn’t for the coffee kitty at work.
ONE WORLD LEADER?
This was always a great mystery. How could one man become so popular so fast as to set him self up as God in a short 3 ½ years. Mystery no more. Again, I am not saying Obama is the Antichrist, but his coming from nowhere in such a short time to become a Godhead among his Koolaid drinking followers that spread beyond our borders, is just to strange. It shows you how fast the real Antichrist can enter the World Stage.
