The following NewsMax article is by a prominent Reform rabbi (Reform Jews are the most liberal and Democrat-voting) who levels a serious charge against the President Obama: While he isn’t personally holding the gun that killed two security guards at the Holocaust Museum, Obama’s attitudes and policies are not helpful to Jews.

Next, influential Jewish lefty Marty Peretz has been especially critcial of Obama at his magazine The New Republic. [h/t Ed Lasky at the American Thinker]

Peretz’s forthcoming article “Narrative Dissonance” (dated July 1) is already available on-line. In it he deconstructs Obama’s Cairo speech and addresses the president’s dangerous historical ignorance of Israel-Palestine. It’s a long article, but well worth reading for those wanting to hear from a staunch liberal who is seeing big cracks in the walls of the new Camelot.

The fallout from Obama’s Cairo speech has been succeeded this week by comments made by his 20-year mentor Jeremiah Wright, who uttered the phrase “them Jews.” Wright subsequently explained he meant to say “them Zionists.” (which is about absurd an excuse as David Letterman explaining he didn’t mean to joke about the rape of Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter; he meant ths 18-year-old daughter.) Ethel Fenig at the American Thinker blog comments on the Wright comments and his non-apology apology.

I sincerely hope more of my liberal-Democrat friends wake up before 2012 to realize the president they voted for is no friend of theirs.

Dennis Prager talks about this phenomenon. These people have lived here for so long they've forgotten what Jews have suffered for many centuries, and confuse those of us on the right with the instigators of pogroms. They love socialism, worship Democrats and wish communism well.

Only when their own scalps are directly threatened will they consider a different way. I'm not sure they will ever turn on Obama, but voting for him was a moment of supreme stupidity on the part of American Jews.
