THIS IS AN UPDATE TO YESTERDAY'S ARTICLE. The citizen revolt against the nationalization of business is beginning to express itself in support for a boycott of General Motors and Chrysler. A new Rasmussen Poll shows rising support, and several national columnists and pundits, as well as citizens, are calling for such a boycott.
A Must Watch and Share
I’m in. I’ve always bought Chevy. My family has always bought Chevy. My 08 Pickup has been nothing but a pain in the butt. I’m done. My next truck will be a Ford.
I was in a long time ago... despite the fact that I already have 3 dodge/chrysler vehicles in my driveway.
Getting rid of them will be the hard part.
Our family has only bought GM for the past 25 years. NO MORE. Will never buy another as long as it is owned by Obama.
Already looking at a new Kia or Toyota when my 2001 Chevy Cavalier goes belly-up.
My future cars will be Fords or foreign made vehicles. Hyundai builds cars and SUV’s in my town, and they’re becoming very popular.
We have a Chevy and a Chrysler right now. Our daughter works for Honda. Guess what my next car will be. ;-)
I love my 2004 Hyundai. Over 38,000 miles and it has never had anything done except the recommended oil changes and the 15 and 30k mile maintenance.
It will be interesting what schemes our government comes up with so that we don’t have a choice! Obama is already ordering new GM cars for federal fleets.
I bought a Dodge in 1973 and a Cadillac in 1980. The Cadillac ended my experiment with UAW automobiles. It’s been German and Japanese ever since.
I have 2 ‘06 Kia Sportages with 100,000 mile warranties. Not a single problem between them. Guess what I’ll be buying again?
So THEIR voice might not matter, huh?
I feel bad for the dealerships, but, much like the French landowners, who were captured or controlled by the Germans, it is now time to BOMB FRANCE!
IF a GM or Chrysler exec would have the guts to come out AGAINST Obama and his Marxist/Fa schist controls and mandates, if an exec would speak out against CAFE standards, and the idea that the UAW is getting far more than they deserve, at the expense of bond holders -—
IF someone would do that, I would reconsider.
However, I will never own another GM or Chrysler vehicle until I hear such, from someone high-up in management.
Economies of Scale -— this is what manufacturing is all about.
IF the public will not buy GM or Chrysler, the government deals will actually be sold at a loss.
The more they produce, the lower the production cost, per vehicle.
I just bought an ‘08 Sierra. I find myself wanting to trade it in for a Ford right now. I console myself with a Gadsden Flag full rear-window graphic, with the “MOLON LABE” motto added. The emperor truly has no clothes. The good (and bad) news is that they are feeding their cause with the four liberal food groups - Denial, falsehood, socialism, and self-loathing. Their cause (a fascist progressive state) will corrupt itself and die a wretched death. The bad news is, we will all be dragged down with it until the ignorant are educated by the stern schoolmaster of real-life experience.
My first car was a Ford (my father worked for them), however, all the cars after that have been imports.
I am in full support of a boycott, unfortunately the sheeple will continue to be fooled into buying GM and Chrysler cars.
I don’t have plans to buy anything for a while but it will really pain me not to buy another GMC. My Sierra is nine years old and hasn’t even been tuned up yet. It has 158,000 miles and the only thing I’ve replaced are the front brake pads. Regular oil changes and greasing are the only maintenance I’ve done.
I will NOT buy another Ford, ever. Every single one I’ve had has put me walking. The last one only made it to 46,000 miles before the engine blew. I had four Fords in a row that bit the dust at a young age before I got smart and traded for my GMC Sierra in 2000. I guess I’ll have to buy foreign if the GM thing doesn’t get worked out. The way my GMC is holding up though I might not need another one in my lifetime. :-)
Kia is a great car and you can't beat the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on the engine and drive train. The rest of the car has a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty. To date, I've never had a problem with my Kia and it's got over 50,000 miles on it.
Here is the flaw in his reasoning. Liberals do not see national defense as a duty of the government, or even a requirement.
