There will be a reason to clamp down on the fed up middle class, by force. Whether it’s swine flu, security breaches, war, a terrorist attack, something will be used by the control freaks as a precept for coming down on us.
Will we resist anyway? Better answer that question now.

I don’t think we have reached that point yet and sort of like the frog boiled in a pot who never realizes he is a goner until he is gone, that may be how this country ends. At least ends as the country we all knew.
BTW that fight reminds me of one in our high school. One was a stocky extremely strong guy nicknamed Duffy. The other guy was even bigger and was a loudmouth smart Alec. Well they got into a fight on the arcade and Duffy landed a few punches before the other guy knew what happened. He injured him fairly severely, I think knocking out a tooth.
The bad blood continued for a month or so and finally the coaches had them take it out with boxing gloves. To my and nearly everyone Else’s surprise the loudmouth beat the tar out of Duffy.

How much longer will the average taxpayer be willing to listen to the wisdom of the Elitists, Academics, Entertainer types and all other non-creators of jobs and wealth before we all yell SHUT THE F*** UP?
How about July 4th, in DC? Put a coupla million of us in there raising hell...it would shut this mother down...what better time and place????

The best example of a society that reached its TIPPING POINT to the great detriment of the elitists, was the French Revolution between 1789 and 1799 when monsieur Guillotine delivered quick and satisfying justice on behalf of the masses who had simply had enough. The author should read a book or two about the Terror before spouting such ignorance.

This is how I picture it. While Max and Grant are circling each other with fists raised, exchanging taunts, a giant Monty Pythonesque boot with "China" emblazoned on its sole comes down and squashes them both.
China is trading in their T-bills (while they're still worth something) for real property and someday they will want to come and live in the house they've bought.

I don't see us reaching that tipping point anytime soon. There's still too much faith in the court system. Until the people are ready to take back power from the judges, nothing will change.
Not that it isn't a good idea to be prepared if the time ever comes, though.
