Barack Obama's apologists state that his birth certificate controversy has "been proven a lie." They want it to be a lie, which of course has nothing whatsoverwith do with the fact it is not a lie. They can say it is; open their mouths and say all kinds of things. The fact they are not correct simply . . . exists. Whether Obama is not Constitutionally eligible to be President may not be proven. What is proven, so far at least, is that he and his minions have used every means at their disposal to hide efforts at exposing the truth.

It replaces Executive Order 13233 (in 2001)
In that older one it says, in one part —
Sec. 7. No Effect on Right to Withhold Records.
This order does not limit the former President’s or the incumbent President’s right to withhold records on any ground supplied by the Constitution, statute, or regulation.
And then this present Executive Order 13489, seems to be a continuation of that one, and whatever other modifications that there are to it.
However, as I see it, from the 2001 Executive Order which applies to all former and present Presidents, they can withhold any records they deem necessary, which are also in keeping with the law that would allow them to do so.
I don’t see any more of a problem here, than was in existence in 2001...

And the answer to that question is not going to do you a bit of good. We all know the general answer to that question. At the very least, there’s something that he doesn’t want you to see... but... that doesn’t help you one bit, does it?
What *would help* is the enforcement mechanism that I talk about in Post #18. And that’s something that I’ve posted on since the election.
It’s very strange that everyone on Free Republic isn’t running with that solution as the *Number One* solution for this problem. I really don’t know why....
He might be a “citizen” ... might. But it’s pretty much a sure thing he doesn’t qualify as “natural born”. His particular affinity for governments and cultures other than our own is, in fact, precisely the reason the Founders made the natural born requirement in the first place. In their forward thinking wisdom, they made the effort to exclude those with foreign tendencies from positions of great power. And, look what failing them has cost us. Proudly, I am a “birther”.
Yeah, the issue is not going away, and it’s not accomplishing anything either... LOL...
Post #18 is what will accomplish something.

Well, I’m certainly not wasting my time with the state law, that’s for sure. That’s the solution. But, it seems that many here would prefer to gripe and complain and do nothing substantial about it, other than simply that... LOL...
I prefer something substantial and that will deprive Obama of Electoral College votes.

That is a great solution for NEXT time, but we need to remove this ineligible fraud and restore our Constitutional Republic BEFORE Obambi destroys it.
Both of my parents were British Subjects at the time of my birth, and under the jurisdiction of England, at that time.
Hence, I am not a “Natural Born” citizen of of U.S.A.
I am a mere citizen. I held dual-citizenship until I reached the age of majority.
The Usurper-In-Chief’s father was a British Subject,
and his mother was a Minor, at the time of his birth.
Hence, no “Natural-Born”.
This subject is not hard to figure out, if you have a rational understanding of the Constitution, as it was written.
They didn’t want someone who had dual-loyalities inhabiting the Office of the POTUS.

I’ve watched and kept up with all the maneuvers and court cases and theories for how Obama was going to be stopped and/or removed from office. And — today — he’s still there.

British Citizenship Act 1948. Any child Fathered by a British Citizen is automatically a British Citizen at birth.

This is not necessarily true. My husband is British and our daughter is indeed a citizen of both the UK and the US. However, my stepdaughter is not, because her father and mother were not married when she was born. She was born in 1985.
I know that letters will not get him to resign, but it will make people aware of what he is doing and maybe start to question his motives. Anything that can get the issue in the public eye, no matter how small will help. I think Oklahoma has legislation started about proving your citizenship before running. Yes, that’s absolutely the best way to go about it.

Nothing whatsover. US citizenship is NOT defined by, or eligibility determined by any other country’s laws.
I think some people believe that a child can’t have citizenship in more than one country by birth For example, they think that a person who is a UK citizen by birth under British law can’t also be a US citizen by birth even if that person is eligible under US law. This certainly is not true now, and I doubt it ever was.
