Washington—With Nancy Pelosi’s political career sinking faster than the Titanic, blood thirsty Republicans are keeping score. Republicans are not going to let her off the hook, insuring that they will take her out at the knees if needed. They plan on playing the kind of hardball politics that made she used so often.
Thursday, May 14, 2009, Pelosi blasted the CIA, claiming that they lied to her about torture. “Yes, the CIA mislead me,” Pelosi said, firing both barrels. “They mislead Congress. Just like Bush. They lied. Bush lied. And they’re not going to get away with it!”
