Remember recently how the Smelly One who was caught LYING again about revising the horrible NAFTA=SHAFTA for the citizens of the United States Treaty forced upon the citizens of American by the SWINE clinton? Another horrible reality of the SHAFTA is the meats being sold to you in the big chains across America. Next time you go to pick up some ribs for a BBQ take a look at the what can only be described as the UNTRUTH being told in the so call Truth in Packaging you will note product of USA,CANADA,MEXICO. Do you really want to feed that SWINE to your family? My advice find a local meat market and make sure the meats you are buying are from America only it is worth the little bit more you may pay. This is yet another reason why we have been SCREWED by our so called representatives.

Reagan thought free trade was one of the four basic legs of his economic policy. Reagan was a big free trader. The Fascist FDR was big on high tariffs, probably why the depression was so deep.

The unions always believe in fencing their jobs in. Being competitive is a much better idea.

Reagan's idea of a growing economy -- Heritage has this to say about the four pillars of Reagonomics:

* Sound money

* Low taxes

* Reduce regulations

* Free trade

Unfortunately our current economic dunce doesn't have a clue about anything except get even with whitey.

I suppose we will have to agree to disagree it is an elitist idea in my opinion just like the smelly one is supposedly so loved around the world what we should do is worry about our own citizens and economy I am not a global citizen I am an American citizen.

This could very well lead support for the passage of Universal Health Care. Could this be a clandestine operation?

Check Craigs list. You can usually find a local farmer selling pigs. I sell mine by word of mouth, because they are damn tasty. A pig raised with care will out taste a factory one that has to wallow in its own waste at least 2 to one. An who knows what we are bringing over the boarder with these animals.

I have been involved with international trade for sometime, and yes, moving factories offshore. It's quite simple to 'keep the jobs here', just lower corporate taxes. The company I used to work for got over 50% of their revenue from other countries.

But the progressives want the chaos and the jobs lost issues, so they keep the corporate taxes high. That acts just like a fence. And the tax laws around overseas profits, just keeps the money made in foreign sales from being brought home. It's all about taxes.

I don't see it as an elitist issue at all. I believe the Democrat progressives want to export American jobs. It's only fair.

Did you read the book Beck is plugging "American Progressivism"? If not you should. Nope no connection, just a good eye popping read.

There would have to be an outbreak during a recession or depression to gain support for the passage of universal health care. This would indeed be a crisis or for that matter a generated crisis the 0bama administration would not want to go to waste.

Reagan also had no qualms about imposing import tariffs where he saw trade imbalances.

Yes that is true, when they struck first ... I think he used it as retaliating, and not policy.

Reagan was principally a free trader, but he also was a low taxer, meaning he understood to keep jobs here you keep taxes, everyone's, low.

Actually I think it would be most correct to call Reagan a balanced trader. When Harley was struggling he imposed targeted taxes on large cc japanese models and the japanese responded by building them here.

Reagan also appealed to the unions by cutting thei taxes along with the taxes on the companies they worked for. I wish the GOP could learn some lessons from Reagan.

...forced upon the citizens of American by the SWINE clinton?

Actually, it was President Bush (41) that spearheaded NAFTA. He ran out of time before it could actually be implemented, and Clinton ultimately signed it.

There was a "ceremonial" signing of NAFTA in December of 1992, prior to Clinton taking office, however.

I couldn't stand Clinton, but let's keep our facts straight.

The buck stops with him since he signed it as far as I am concerned.
