The folks at NewsBusters have discovered that CNN (The Most “Trusted” Name in News) has shut down the email address for reporter Susan Roesgen.

(snip)

If you are so inclined, I urge you to fire off a few Twitter replies to @RickSanchezCNN during his show at 3pm ET.

My respect for Newsbusters has been rising lately. I used to dismiss them as another Debka or WWN, but they have been hitting the hard stories hard these days.

I saw a sign at a tea party “CNN SUCKS” and I was glad to see such sentiments as that channel has been pathetic.

As I recall Susan Roesgen was a female weekday news anchor at WABC channel 7 in NYC in 1992. She had some sort of fight with Bill Beutel, even to the point that she had to stay in studio during the 1992 Democratic Convention at MSG in NYC while Beutel anchored from the Garden. She was later fired and replaced by Diana Williams, who is still there.
