I’m fed up because you have no understanding of what’s really going on in the world. Or of what’s going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let’s start local. You’ve been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that’s despite record numbers of homeowners including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. And while we’re mentioning minorities, I’ll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton Administration. I’ve mentioned all those things before, but it doesn’t seem to have sunk in.
Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you do not understand that gas prices are high because there’s increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy people are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.
Sickoflibs is a RON PAULISTINIAN and a HOLDOUT... makes LIberals seem almost sensible..

I respect the points people are making but I do strongly disagree.
Politics and philosophy are related topics but they are decidedly not the same thing. Lesser of evils is definitely what politics is always about. The only alternative is radical forms of fascist dictatorships.
In many many respects President Ronald Reagan fell far short of conservative ideas regarding Supreme Court appointments (O’ Connor), government spending, and illegal immigration. It is unwise to demand on philosophical grounds that Reagan be expunged from the Conservative frame of rhetoric. Good conservative rhetoric can displace RINO rhetoric. Toomey needs to beat Specter with positive arguments. Allowing the seat to go Democrat deliberately would as an example be wrong.
I do think whether it is intended or not, the Left is encouraging the Right to deconstruct and dissassemble itself. The idea that this thread would predicate as impure a commentator like Mark Levin is fairly viewed as a rhetorical position designed to increase Obama, liberal, radical leftist control of the government. There is nothing that precludes more conservative views than Levin’s — which I have to admit is difficult to conceptualize— could take hold among independents and Republicans. The effort to discredit Levin is clearly misguided. It does play into the hands of a concerted strategy to use the internet to destroy conservatism from within.
But our main point of contention was my complaint that Levin was loyal to Bush, (and worse, jumped on the McCain or die wagon. ) I know Levin has disagreed with a number of GWB policies like immigration, but my complaint is he still holds to the points in my post and reply 1(he still tries to claim Bush economy was great, but after the crash it was ALL Carter, Clinton and Franks fault). GWB saved the economy, democrats killed it. And so this post was a good example of that, Bush worship.
Bush squandered his capitol from 9/11 He managed to do everything conceivable wrong!!!!!!!! There is a You Tube someone here gave me with Jorge promising everyone a Damm house He did not connect and was a nothing but an liberal hiding in the Republican party.

I voted for him in 2004 but was already wondering about him. After that every year got worse. After his 2007-2008 marriage with Pelosi I was ready for a mental institution it was so bad.
