Great news on Easter Sunday: U.S. Naval Forces have killed three pirates and captured one other in freeing American Captain Phillips who has been held hostage for five days! There are conflicting reports as to the details. The NBC News report above says Navy Seals freed Phillips in an assault against the lifeboat. I'm sure we will learn more as the day wears on. . . . . . (Watch Video)

Navy SEALs hero alert! Captain Phillips Hero alert! God has answered the prayers of millions today. How wonderful! Been praying for the Captain for days and days. Bonus that 3 of the terrorists are dead. I also prayed for justice to be rained down upon them. One terrorist escaped death unfortunatly. Fox is doing a great job covering this right now. How joyous is the Phillips family now....If we are this happy for them, imagine their joy!

Oh, please. They would never have attacked a US flagged ship unless your beloved Bambi had given them the signal that we were weak. The rescue is due to military people, not to Zero.

This kind of puts Obama in a box.
The result here proves that force works and overwhelming force works best. And the European appeasement model results in stalemates and more violence down the road.
When America sees the result of overwhelming force against evil, they'll demand America use force against evil more often.
But Obama can only disappoint because he believes America is a big bad bully ... that America should "negotiate" with evil.
Either he behaves like Bush and gets hated.
Or he behaves like Carter and disappoints.
 That's a box.

Have to wonder now. . .’will Obama apologise”?

Frankly, don’t think Obama had much to do with it. . .OTOH. . .he may have underestimated our Navy Seals.

Apparently my mistake.....all I saw was the part about an “assault against the lifeboat” which wouldn’t have happened without O’s approval. But it would seem that the good Captain didn’t want to wait on Barry........

It won’t end the piracy; that is NOT the celebration here. IT is the saving of the life of Captain Phillips; who risked his life; for his Crew and ‘ship’.

The reality is, Obambi HAD NOTHING to do with the freeing on Capt. Phillips. (but watch the A-hole in Chief try and take the credit, then use it for political advantage)

Given that the ignorant, limp-wristed Pansy in Chief and his talking heads aren’t out in front of this taking credit, suggests that the Navy commanders or SEALs stuck quickly when the terrorists were vulnerable.
It will be interesting to see how Zero’s arrogance will play out in this situation... will he take credit for a rescue attempt he never authorized or will he condemn the SEAL team for taking unprecedented unilateral action against our fellow world citizens?

    This won't end piracy.
But it will sure make the pirates think twice before boarding a ship with an American flag from now on.
Why risk it when there are so many European ships out there that will capitulate and hand over cash?
Most criminals aren't fools. If you have a big dog looking out your window and your neighbor has his peace sign posted in his window, the choice of who to rob is easy.

Amen. I had been praying for this man and on Good Friday asked our Lord to spare this man. What a great Easter blessing.
He is risen!
