The best insight into American pop culture comes to us via South Park. Oh, and has anybody heard if the Jonas Brothers have responded to this episode yet?

I just watched the clip. I’m jealous of “The Boss”. I’d love to kick the crap out of those little bastards.Of course my 12 yr old daughter would never speak to me again since she is obsessed with them....

The... the Mickey Mouse scene was one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen. That was classic! It was. Thank goodness I went to the restroom just before I watched it, cause it's pee in your pants FUnnie.

South Park actually gets BETTER as time goes by
South Park has always been extremely hit-and-miss for me. There are episodes that are side-splitting hilarious, like the one where Cartman pretends to be a robot, and then there are others that I just don't get at all, like one with a talking towel(??).

Saw the show last nite.
I loved the part about where the father of some very young girls watching the concert on TV stated,:
“That’s enough Disney Channel for now.”
Truer words were never spoken.

My 12 year old tomboy daughter never liked the Jonas Brothers despite all the other 6th grade girls being fans. Now I guess I’m glad!

Oh, and has anybody heard if the Jonas Brothers have responded to this episode yet?I'm more interested in the official response from the Disney Corporation. I loved this episode and laughed my ass off, but my jaw also dropped in disbelief of how far they took it. Look, I'm certainly no fan of Disney (nor do I have any particular beef with them) and I love South Park (I registered parkerstone08.com in hopes of convincing Trey and Matt to run), but for crying out loud we're talking about trademarks here. Forget about the principals, forget about your personal feelings towards South Park, Comedy Central, MTV Networks, or Viacom/CBS, forget about your personal feelings towards Disney, and consider the case objectively. Corporation A creates an animation of Corporation B's trademarked mascot standing on a stage, representing the "boss" of Corporation B, and announcing "Christians are fucking retarded"... and if you haven't seen the episode, I assure you that this is not exaggerated in the slightest. It's hard for me to see how that isn't trademark infringement. I don't know if Disney/ABC will sue over this -- I suspect that they won't -- but if they did, I don't see how I could avoid admitting that they had a valid complaint.
