How appropriate that they’re inspired by Marie Antoinnette. :) Let them buy shoes!

People like Posh Spice (David Beckham’s wife) will buythem or be given
a pair to wear. Or if they are considered a collectible (like a Dusenberg)
and won’t be worn, someone will buy them.

I like Christian Louboutin’s Shoes, but the pairs displayed are off. He does have a pair displayed in the April Issue of Glamour Magazine, page 214: high heeled slingbacks in black with a small bowtie in the front of the shoes. Paired with the classy balck dress by Giambatista Valli, classy elegance. If I had a million dollars or won the lottery, I would afford myself the shoes and dress./Just Asking - seoul62......

Well said. People should be able to do what they like with their money.

Hmm: if Obama were to spend 3.27 Trillion dollars on buying these ludicrous shoes for everyone in America it would do WAY less damage to the country than what’s actually going to happen.

I could do better with flip flops, glitter, elmers glue and doghair.

Nah, I’m going to the gun show today. That’s more important. (Actually just want to see how crazy it is, I’m set.)

That’s a far better use of your time—unless you need the $6,000 to buy some new toys!!!

Actually, I'm thinking of one of these for my upcoming 50th... (since getting a Corvette is probably a bad idea given GM's state)

AYA #2 in 16 gauge.

I wouldn’t pay $62.95 for shoes. For those shoes, I wouldn’t pay $5 at Goodwill.

I wouldn’t. At least not for those shoes. In the first place, I don’t have the money right now. In the second place, I’m guessing M. Louboutin doesn’t normally make those babies in mens’ size 11. In the third place, even if he did, I’d look pretty odd in them. Trust me on this.

Be prepared to see the yellow pair on our Fuhrers’ Michelle any day now. I wonder if they come in 12EE?

Tacky, kitschy, ugly. And uncomfortable-looking, to boot.
