Earlier today, I was parked at the Highland Lakes (Vernon, NJ) post office, picking up my mail. My new bumper sticker (following) was prominently displayed:

When I came out and headed to my car, a woman in a nearby car, seeing that I was the owner of the "offending" bumper sticker, said to me: "Yay, President Obama. I voted for him." Real mousy voice, and a mousy looking woman; she looked to me like someone who was smoking dope every night, 25 years ago. Knowing what a waste of time and effort it is to try to educate morons, I simply replied: "I'm sorry to hear that" and got in my car and drove away.

I wouldn’t put one of those on my car. I need it to work. YMMV.

Putting a bumper sticker on an item of property worth tens of thousands of dollars is not my idea of prudence. You’re a braver man than me.

I put it on a blank magnetic bumper sticker, which I purchased
from here. I can move/remove it any time I want -- I usually take it off when I park the car. I don't need to do so in Vernon because, other than the occasional kook like the one I described, Vernon is solid red.

Great bumper sticker. Especially in the People’s Republic of New Jersey. It is unfortunate that there are too many morons like the dopehead you encountered. I would be careful where you park your car as it is likely to be vandalized by the dopes who realize you are right and they have been wrong. And I would also expect to get audited by the IRS.

My job requires me to travel on the road a lot throughout Arizona. Lots of tourists and out of staters out there on the highways.
Over the past few months, I've noticed a very strange phenomenon. Leading up to the election, I saw very few political bumper stickers. Very few. Then, after November 4th, Obama stickers were popping up everywhere. Now, we've gone back to no bumper stickers again. I think there is a lot more "buyer's remorse" going on out there than the liberal "media" is telling us.

Never forget before the Obama era is over, that ‘mousy woman’ will remember this incident, and be ashamed in hindsight.
