Here is video of Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele talking with CNN's D.L. Hughley last night, and calling comments made by Rush Limbaugh during his speech to CPAC "incendiary and ugly." Steele said Limbaugh is not the de facto leader of the Republican Party, and that he is an "entertainter."
This is exactly the point Rush Limbaugh was trying to make in his speech. Republicans need to stop worrying about what the D.L. Hughley's think! They will never like conservatives or Republicans, because they are liberals! Steele should not have disavowed, in effect, what Rush said. He should have hammered home the core principles set forth by Limbaugh in his speech. . . . . (Watch Video)

The Republican party seems to be infected with the same racial guilt that the Bolsheviks on the other side of the aisle have. We keep elevating members of minority groups and calling them consevatives without really properly vetting them. Thomas Sowell is a conservative. Clarence Thomas is a conservative. Walter Williams is a consevative. Deroy Murdock is a conservative. Shelby Steele is a conservative.
Colin Powell is not. Condoleeza Rice is not. And this clown, Michael Steele, is definitely, not.
Until we purge ourselves of our racial guilt we are going to continue to attribute to these RINOs conservative values which they DO NOT HAVE. No more “affirmative action” conservatives. They are all RINOs.
PS I think we’re in danger of doing the same thing with Governor Palin as a result of gender guilt. I mostly like what I’ve heard from Governor Palin but not all (Wall St. greed, etc.) I don’t know how much of what she said during the campaign was McCain-speak and how much of it was the Governor. She needs to be vetted just like this clown, Steele, should have been.
PSS By the way Mr.Steele you condescendingly put down Rush as simply “an entertainer”. What the hell do you think DL Hughley is?
It is past time for all conservatives to leave the Republican party behind, and, as difficult as it may be for some, reach some consensus to support a third party that supports the Constitution of the United States and the Republic unequivically. Any so called Republican that has not historically embraced the doctrine of conservatism in words or deeds needs to stay with the carcass of the old elephant. This nation can no longer endure the bickering and blind loyalty to persons rather than doctrine that has brought us to this Marxist president.
I apologize for ever voicing my approval of this coward.
He can take his "Hip-Hop GOP"... we go with Rush!
Hahahaha, ADD! You have made an excellent point!
Maybe I didn't see the forest for all the trees.....or maybe they don't want emails.
Perhaps someone here has the magic bullet.

Letter To Mr. Steel, Recommend other send there thoughts and try to wake them up to Getting a message and teaching the whys to the general non-caring public, Not those here because those here do read, listen and know whats going on around them.

Dear Mr Steel I seen your time on CNN and I just want to make sure you are aware RUSH is speaking the type of things You and the party should be taking up. You should be kicking and screaming (intelligently) and explaining why the proposal and bills the democrats are pushing are bad for American and not inline with the constitution. The main reason you are having difficulty is because the Republican party also have fallen astray from the constitution so the First step is to admit your errors and show what things you have seen the light on, Such as spending bills. Come out with a revised very public platform, Hold RIHNOs accountable. Clean up the party push them out and get control of one solid message to the American public. Pull the Constitution out and point out the clauses in it that make these new idea, bills, proposal, wrong. Also do the reveres as you come up with your own plans as a party point out the whys its right according to the Constitution. Lastly RUSH truly is not the head of the party but yet he is the main (not only one) pointing out the direction to go. If you can not realize it then you are not Conservative and hence not an traditional Republican. The party has very little time to get its act straight because as it drags its feet it looses more of its base to other parties. Constitutional is the one Im looking at much more.
I’m not leaving the party, I’m not supporting the RNC. They do not actively recruit or support conservatives. They try to keep the RINOs (aka Gilchrest, the absolute worst) and turn their noses up at true conservatives.
Just wondering..........
MOLON LABE
Why does D.L. Hughley have a show on CNN? It seems CNN just keeps falling lower and lower, amazing.
The colossal racial divisiveness unspoken of, the tyranny of low expectations:

Steele and other CPAC attendees should’ve really had something to say about “incendiary and ugly” from ‘rat anti-freedom individual Senators and the big anti-freedom collective talked about...here...

Thanks to Robert Spencer and the great commentators at jihadwatch.
I would assume, by Steele’s comments, that they don’t like Limbaugh’s being branded, by some, the leader of the Republicans.
Exactly, looks like it worked too.
I have been holding back too on the RNC, but I have given to the House Republicans for standing firm(so far) against Obama’s stimulus and budget. Here is the link if anyone is interested:
Maybe we all need to be our own Rush Limbaugh’s instead of complaining each time a national leader doesn’t say exactly what we want him or her to say.
Just how was Michael Steele chosen as the Chairman? What was the process?
“So that’s why Steele should go on CNN & agree with them??”
I just don’t think it was that big of a deal one way or the other. Imagine that three black guys that think “Barack the Magic Negro” song may be offensive. So what? Steele did not disagree with the core values of Rush. When he does that. I will have a problem with him.
What is Steeles email address?
"Dear Jeanie,
This morning, Governor Jindal and I continued our party's fight for reform as the Democrats proposed more wasteful spending and bigger government.
In case you missed it, I hope you take a moment to watch Governor Jindal's appearance on NBC's Today Show this morning. As he did in the Republican address last night, Governor Jindal laid out the differences between Republicans and Democrats. In his own words: "We think it's more important to get the private sector moving rather than just spending government money." You can watch Governor Jindal's entire interview here:
I also wanted to be sure you caught my appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe. It was a lively discussion about President Obama's address and the future of the Republican Party. You can watch it here:

Thank you for all that you do to support the Republican Party.
Sincerely,

Does anyone know anything about this? What did Steele say to them?
I haven't heard any reports about what good was accomplished by Steele's attendance.
