RNC CHAIRMAN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE OF THE BLACK UNION WASHINGTON RNC Chairman Michael Steele will hold a press conference tomorrow before participating as a panelist at the State of the Black Union, hosted by well-known leader of the African-American community, Tavis Smiley. This years 10th anniversary of the symposium is entitled, Making America As Good As Its Promise, where panelists will have constructive conversations about how to bring together every American citizen. Michael Steele also attended the event in 2007, but it is the first time an RNC Chairman has ever participated.
Does anyone know anything about this? What did Steele say to them?
I haven't heard any reports about what good was accomplished by Steele's attendance.
