California is one of those big blue states, like New York, Illinois, and Michigan, that the Democrats have run for decades and where taxes are suffocating and freedom is limited.
But I don't really care.
It's a free country, and you can choose to leave those hell-hole states if you want to - I was born in Massachusetts, left 20 years ago, and never looked back.
But I saw this article about the utter destruction of California by the Left, and I shuddered for my fellow Americans.

Ronald Reagan was far more intelligent than the bulk of the GOP of today. He actually gave a reason to vote for him and it’s how we became the heartland of the Reagan Democrats.
I remember back around 2002 or so, the ‘Rats in the state legislature would lock out the RINOs and the 2 or 3 real conservatives. Pelosi probably ponders those tactics employed by the whores back home.

exactly. California’s fiscal irresponsibility is being subsidized by the federal government and US tax payers. I’m sorry, but I don’t think federal tax dollars should be given to any state that allows, let alone defends, sanctuary cities. LA, Fresno, San Fran, San Diego, all of Sonoma county-all sanctuaries for illegal aliens. We’re all subsidizing this behavior through this stimulus bill and this, my friends, is a portend of things to come. The fact that we’re leveraging our countries sovereignty to do it should make any real American want to cry. God Damn California.

Dangerous ideologues. They’re convinced in their worldview, and they actually believe they’re patriotic in a way. They believe as long as they have the power, then they can take care of the people.
There’s nothing rational about it, but they believe it.
Most conservatives believe God’s in charge. Most liberals believe man’s in charge. The more power those men and women are allowed to have, the more they paint themselves into corners. Most don’t have the humility to admit that they don’t know what they are doing and need help.
Most CEO’s are in the same situation, regardless of political stripe.
I’ll point out that the reason we are here is bipartisan. Had we done our jobs as Republicans, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Really, that simple. We’d rather be loved than do the right thing, and we’ve not learned they’ll never love us.
