A-Rod should be banned for life from baseball for steroid use. Alex Rodriguez has done irreparable damage to the sport of baseball. Pete Rose was banned from the game for life for gambling on baseball. Do you think Pete Rose's gambling or A-Rod's steroid use had a larger impact on the outcome of any particular game of baseball? There is no proof that Pete Rose's bad habit ever affected a baseball game. We know what kind of effect steroid use has on an athlete's performance. When you correlate Alex Rodriguez's steroid use with his records and outstanding seasons, you can clearly see there could be a strong relationship. A-Rod should be banned to restore fans faith in the game. See a video of A-Rod detailing his steroid use.

There is no proof that Pete Rose's bad habit ever affected a baseball game. That is not the issue with Pete Rose.
In every Major League clubhouse Pete Rose ever walked into there was a sign that said, "No Gambling" and the Rule Book states that anyone gambling would be "banned for life."
And when Pete did bet on those games, not only impacted the integrity of the game, but he also put players at risk.
Rose will never see the Hall of Fame.

His “explanations” have been contradictory and opportunistic-—designed to protect his status and money stream.
He was “young and stupid?”
At age 28?
His cousin injected him with an unknown substance they accidentally found in the Dollar Store’s discount bin.
He loves his body so much-—he had himself injected with an unknown substance.
More evidence of a body-lover——he had numerous extramarital affairs.
Guy is a scumbag and a liar-—send him back to the “Turd World”........ where he crawled out of.

nah, he shouldn't. Is he a lying stuck up shmuck? Yep, he is. Has he ruined his image? Yep, he has. But a large number of players that mattered were taking illegal substances and baseball knew it. This whole thing has been a sham by MLB trying to look like they didn't know what was going on. If you ban AROD, you'll need to ban over a third of the players in MLB. And why are people so upset over this yet don't really care about football players that have been juicing for as long if not longer? Why the selective outrage over baseball players? Fans want it both ways. Prior to the steroid spike, baseball was dead. Steroids brought excitement back with the home run chase with McGwire and Sosa, both juicers. Anyone who knew ANYTHING about lifting and body composition KNEW both were using. Hell, I knew as teen when I saw Lenny Dykstra come into spring training with the phillies bulked up like the hulk after watching the skinny guy play for the Mets. Don't get me wrong, I have no love for AROD. Never really liked him as a person/player. But he was talented before steroids, during steroids, and after steroids. This outrage is like finally realizing that their is sex and gambling in Vegas.

Tabackie spitting ping! What gets me the most are the holier than thou types pontificating about how bad this all is. If they were in the position to make that much dough they would have done the same and probably more. Steroids are the best thing to happen to baseball! Do you think Babe Ruth would have stuck to Jack Daniels if he could get juice like that?

Professional sports would cease to exist, every sport uses PED’s in great percentages. There’s no stopping it the makers are way ahead of the testers. Steroids, HGH, testosterone, etc. and all of these powerful hormones are as common in our sports as socks and tape. The Genie was out of the bottle a loooooonnnnnnnngggg time ago, the public is just catching up to reality.

You are probably right, and neither will I with him not in it.
He is a part of baseball history a great part.
The Hall of fame is just a BS place when they ignore their history.

No one in baseball recently who amounted to anything did not use steroids. There are even allegations that Aaron juiced when it was still legal back in the day.
