In an unexpected move, the Speaker of the House upped the ante on the President's pay scale rule that private executive pay must not exceed $ 500,000.00 per year.
This afternoon it was announced that executive jets must be powered by alternative energy, in order to fly in the United States. In the House's pending Community Aviation Investment Act, no aircraft will be permitted to fly unless painted green, certified as emission-free, and serviced by disadvantaged labor. In an interim period, extension cords may be permitted.
"Over ten million politicians lose their credibility every day, and so this legislation cannot be delayed," a startled Ms. Pelosi blinked. "We cannot allow the Federalists to obstruct this vital work. Wind and solar must be given a chance to revolutionize our travel industries."
The Republican leadership refused to comment on the charge, noting dryly only that, "Gee, we're sure glad Sarah Palin didn't say that." When asked by numerous puzzled journalists to explain what that meant, they only shook their heads sadly.
Do you have a source for the idiotic remarks, or are you making these up?
It’s satire.
Unfortunately, I only got that afterward.

Don’t quit your day job, chief.
In all seriousness, we’re past the point where one can easily tell the difference between actual “idiotic remarks” and made-up stuff.
Yeah, I got lured in there, too. Bad title.
“The Republican leadership refused to comment on the charge, noting dryly only that, “Gee, we’re sure glad Sarah Palin didn’t say that.” When asked by numerous puzzled journalists to explain what that meant, they only shook their heads sadly.”
Now that’s funny.
