Two dogs, two cats, here. Most days a Peaceable Kingdom, though the cats will mix it up with each other on occasion. ;)

I know when it’s time to clean our dog’s ears because the catz will sneak up while she’s sleeping, sniff her head, and say, “Meh!”

OK all you animal lovers. I have a problem. I had 5 dogs and a cat. They all got along perfectly. My wife does dog rescue and there are dogs coming and going occasionally. My cat Shiloh befriends all of them, or at least is civil towards them.

He even has cat friends in the neighborhood. We had talked about getting another cat so he would have someone to play with.
While in Virginia a few months ago, the wife and kids found an emaciated kitten trying to eat a plastic straw at a movie theatre. His name is now Oliver, and he's a beautiful huge orange tabby.

Shiloh hates him! I mean, really HATES him. He growls, hisses, and swats at the other cat whenever they are in the same room. This totally backfired.

These are both neutered males, but Oliver wasn't neutered when we got him. I wonder if that has something to do with it. Any feline lovers have any advice?
