"This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format:
"Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?
"A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
"Q. Where will the government get this money?
"A. From taxpayers.
"Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
"A. Only a smidgen.
"Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
"A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, more clothes, stereos, DVD's, CD's, or GPS for your car thus stimulating the economy.
"Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China or Malaysia or Indonesia and Japan ? "A. Shut up."
Very well writen by the way.
Truth is, they are not going to send us a check. They are going to let you take in in your paycheck (about 10-13 bucks a check) until it runs out, or take as a tax break at the end of the year.
I know that 10 bucks is going to really stimulate the economy.

Nice link - but does it also depict the political makeup of the workforce? I won’t buy American if I know that a large portion of the company’s employees are hard-core liberals. They are as much the enemy as any communist nation.
then I am at least half right then, though
At Kaman, we used to make aelerons for A-6, flaps for F-14s, Engine cowls for GE Engines
all that kept those companies on schedule
But, no one ever made SH-2 parts in China in the 80’s or K-MAX parts in the 90’s
WHile Boeing is only maked small parts, they are still off shoring parts to an economic competitor nation, and with that we are giving away technology, training, material knowlege...
It all makes me pissed!
And I know it aint just Boeing, Pratt is doing 3 times as much offshoring..
