I know the children are our future...Whitney Houston told me that...so I was fairly perplexed to hear House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempt to defend birth control provisions in the already bloated stimulus bill. Since "stimulus" is a nice way of saying "government spending," it's particularly vexing to have Madam Squeaker argue that significant blame for the tanking economy can be placed at the feet of babies (who will be paying for the bailout for their lifetimes).

Social conservatives immediately countered, saying "Hey, responsible family planning was our idea!" Iowa baby, Lexie Myer, (.5 yrs, Des Moines) argued...."I eat, I sleep, I crap. Now you want me to either get a job or go back to where I came from?" This caused her brother, Stevie (2), to reply, "where you came from....ew!"

Americans are too enamored of contraception for this to gain traction. At church last weekend, a Right to Life sermon did not mention contraception once, yet discussed human life as a blessing. It was a glaring omission.
I suspect one reason GWB wanted to legalize immigrants to broaden the Social Security tax payer pool a little.

if your church failed to speak up for the unborn, you need to find a new church....OR talk to your priest....my husband did just that with a new priest...a week before we were to have prolife Sunday...the young priest prayed about it and came back with a sermon that was mostly about protecting the unborn...he told my husband after that conversation he prayed about it and gave the sermon God called him to give from his heart...
It is no “Stimulus” it is money to destroy the Constitution and the United States and make it into a left wing dictatorship like the USSR and Nazi Germany.

This is nothing new. The left has been crying about over population for decades. I just wish for once, they would offer themselves as the sacrifice for the good of humanity.

It is beyond belief that among the first acts this President has been to order the release of those held at Gitmo, and to abolish the restrictions on funding for abortions, here and abroad.. He is rewarding the guilty and destroying the innocent. This cannot go on for long.
