[PREFACE}
I am sure there will be plenty of opportunites to provide substantive criticism of President Obama's decisions over the next four years. I encourage folks to provide that substantive criticism without being disrespectful. Over the past 8 years President Bush has been bombarded with personal attacks by his critics. Let us all resolve NOT to follow in THOSE footsteps just because the shoe is now on the other foot.
MY PRAYER:
Father God, Ruler of All Nations, Father of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with a grateful and humble heart that I come before you today to thank you and praise you in the Name of your Son, Jesus Christ who gave Himself for US, ungrateful, undeserving sinners that we are. Father, you have instructed us to offer the sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips givings thanks to you always.
Father, on this day and everyday I thank you and praise for the peaceful transition of Leadership in our government, specifically the Presidency of the United States of America. Father, you have instructed us to pray for those in Authority. Father, your Word tells us that ALL AUTHORITY in the UNIVERSE has been given to Your Son, The Lord Jesus Christ and so therefore on that basis any human government that recognizes this fact and all specificly all Leaders who place themselves under YOUR Authority have the assurance of Your Divine protection. Father, I am so thankful that in the history of these United States you have given us leaders who have publicly confessed their personal faith and trust in You. I pray that President Barrack Obama will follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before him. I pray that he will Lead our Nation with power and conviction that comes only from sincere humility grounded in a close and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, we are living in trying times, and I pray that our Nation will turn to You and only You for Divine protection and guidance. Lead us on the Path of Righteousness for Your Namesake. This I ask in the Most Worthy and precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, AMEN.

there are many proposed policies and actions that are a nightmare. May God keep him from doing some of the things he has indicated he will do, and that others are certainly expecting him to do.
But: "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." Proverbs 21:1 God has not lost control. As I often point out, some of the worst decisions made in office have come from "our guys" . . . and some otherwise lousy Presidents have somehow been free to do some really great things.
And, because this is a really key point, let me prove that God DID, in fact, choose Barak Obama to be President:
"For promotion [elevation to power] cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another." Psalm 75:6-7
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power [old word for "authority"] but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God . . . For he is the minister of God to thee for good." Romans 13:1-4 There is NOONE in power that God didn't put there . . . and even the "bad guys" become, by that appointment, a "minister of God" for our good.
" . . . know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will." Daniel 4:25
For our part, our job:
"Seek the peace of the city . . . and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace." Jeremiah 29:7 This to God's people in foreign cities under rulers that couldn't care less about God.
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for . . . kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour" 1 Timothy 2:1 We are to pray FOR, give thanks for "all that are in authority" . . . support, strengthen, because when they have peace, will have peace. We can't do this commandment without continually thanking God FOR Barak Obama.
God always does His best stuff when everyone is wringing their hands. He laughs at those of us who think He has lost control. He is so much in control that He wants us to joyfully support, encourage the one(s) He has placed in power, anticipating the amazing things He will do for us through them.
What you wrote is how I think...OB has not made my Prayer List...I just pray for protection for those who will be persecuted by his corrupt power
I pray for the Constitution and our Represenative Republic. My full allegiance rests with no MAN, but God alone.
Thank you for sharing that.. The God we serve is able to work through Obama to accomplish His Divine Will for us. I pray that Obama will desire to allow that to happen.

for me to reveal a “specific example” of OB’s persecution of those who are not in his camp will only put many Christians at risk...

Let me say that no officer or senior NCO I know would follow an order from BHO.
I pray your safety, but let me make point:
Matthew 15:14: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” And I take warning from Isaiah 9:16: “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” Many a tyrant has risen to power followed blindly by the masses—think Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Hitler.
Your point is well made my FRiend, I am not suggesting that we blidly follow Barack Obama.. far from it.. I am suggesting that we pray for him, that God will direct our Nation through him or in spite of him whichever the case may be... when our leaders do right we should praise them for it.. when they do wrong they must be admonished.

ALL OFFICERS who give orders derive their authority from the President of the United States.. So in essence the same Commander who gave me an Order on 1/19/2009, Under the Authority of President George W. Bush can issue me an order after noon 1/20/2009 under the Authoity of President Barack Obama... like or not that is the way it is... I am not aware of any Officers or Senior NCO’s that have resigned their commission as a result of Barack Obama taking office.. if you are aware of any please let me know.. that would be very interesting to me personally.

That is the basis for the lawsuit in question, The last one questions Obama’s qualifications as CIC. Personally, I think officers and NCO’s in the military have standing. We shall see.
I understand... But until the Supreme Court says otherwise, or he is impeached, Barack Obama is the Commander in Chief whether we like it or not...

God does NOT instruct us to pray FOR evil, Jesus told us to pray the Lord’s prayer, where we pray “deliver us from evil”.
Thanks for that. I say the Lord's prayer every night. I highly doubt that God would want me to pray for a man who believes in murdering babies in the womb.
