Various CT Blog experts have posted in the past about homegrown terrorism in the United States (most notably Madeleine Gruen and Frank Hyland and the NEFA Foundations Target America series). I have published a long article on the subject in the latest issue of Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, attempting to outline the history of homegrown terrorism of jihadist inspiration in America and analyze the U.S. governments response to it.

Homegrown jihadis don’t need to worry. The FBI will now be looking at us Freepers.
I see your moniker is rather new bergmeid.
If you’re really worried about the FBI looking at FR; you just not post and read only.
I consider all of my posts on FR public and anyone can read anything I post.
Looking at my stats on my web site; I can see that I get interesting visitors from time to time.
If I don’t like that; I can delete my web pages.
One must weigh their priorities.
My rule of thumb is this: If it’s online; it’s not private.
A good evening to you.
I may be new on FR, but I’ve been on the internet since 1990 when it was still very much in its infancy. FBI and whoever else does not faze me. A good evening to you too.

In truth, the Internet was in its infancy in the early-mid 1970’s. It was old news by 1990.
Actually, you are correct in that statement.
If I read your original statement correctly, what you were trying to say is that Obama is likely to have the FBI chasing “enemies” of no consequence to America’s security, rather than focusing on America’s real enemies. Under this scenario, FReepers could become “Enemies of the State” merely by virtue of being Conservative.
There are many who believe that Obama is up to no good. If they are right, then this scenario is a distinct possibility.
To be truthful, your new President creeps me out majorly. I’m glad he’s over there and I’m over here with a very long walk and an even longer swim between us.
