Obama won't be president for another 3 days and the Libs in Congress are already off their medication.
First from David Codrea, we learn that Rep. Bobby Rush wants to keep a very close eye on you and your guns.
Among its great new Big Brother provisions is a requirement that all handguns be registered with and licensed by the Attorney General.
Then, once you register, you'd better learn all the new rules, otherwise you go to the slammer.

Yeah the article is right, guns are the leading cause in most homicides in the US, but by gangsters selling drugs living off welfare, not people that work 40 hours a week and pay their taxes. This is so bogus and bs. How many stars and athletes get let off the hook with an illegal firearms? (Sean Combs, Busta Ryhms, Burress to name a few) I don’t understand why they just dont make the penalties for having an illegal firearm stricter, like the death penalty, problem solved. Its easier to be a star and get off with a gun charge than your average everyday American with a speeding ticket!

Bobby Rush served six month prison term in 1969 for...gun violations. Old Bobby was the Defense Minister for the Black Panther Party of Illinois.

Well, since they don’t know I have them, and I have no intention of registering them, I don’t expect to engage in a gunfight. I’m thinking this will be like one of those goofy gun buy backs lefties try once in a while. They’ll get a few nitwits registering them and then declare all 233 handguns in the US are now registered.
I may be a 64 year old grandmother with a couple guns, but I’m in.
I don’t think it will come to that.
We have GOT to email our CongressCritters though and get the RINOs to stand up for the Constitution. This is not a popularity contest after all.
