This afternoon Congress Passed a Resolution:
Recognizing Israels right to defend itself against attacks from Gaza, reaffirming the United States strong support for Israel, and supporting the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. (Full resolution below)
Out of all of the Congressmen who were present, twenty-seven did not support the resolution. Five Voted NO and twenty-two didn't have the guts to vote yes or no, just present.
Below is a list of those members of congress. Note that all but one (moonbat Ron Paul) are members of the Democratic party. California accounted for 25% of the group of 27:

They’re a collection of left-leaning whackos. If that’s what the people want in Congress, rock on. I’m content to disdain them.
Ohmygosh! They’re all Democrats.
Imagine that!!!
And yet, they bankroll and support the idiots on the left without failure. God called them a stiff-necked people. I get it now.
Somethings not right, here. Only ONE of the Congresscritters from Washington is on this list? ONLY ONE????? Someone had better recount those votes.
If the Rats vote that way for Israel....they will vote that way for the US. Spineless....
7 of them come from Kalifornia
He does appear in public around here, although I don't recall him doing so OUTDOORS in many years. At least not since he started taking AlQaida funding.
Does Mossad have some reason for leaving this puke alone or what? If so they might tell the rest of us so we don't have to worry about him blowing up or something.
I support Israel’s right to defend herself 100%, but I don’t see why we, another country, should be voting on it either way. Why would (or should) one country’s congress concern itself with issuing statements on whether another country has the moral right to defend itself against a third party?
Even a Libertarian should recognize a states right to defend its self against attack.
Ron Paul was #3 on the list of 'no' votes.
That in itself is a VERY good question... I’d like to see them put their(our) money where their mouths are and actually vote for something that has REAL meaning - like sending Israel some more bombs or something to HELP them in a REAL way. ;) Not that I would expect the vote to look anywhere NEAR the same as this one... A lot more Dems on the “NAY” side if they were doing something besides giving lip service.
I’m wondering if his reasoning is that we shouldn’t be issuing statements like this as we really have no right to pass judgment on ANY other nation like this?
Does anyone have information as to Paul’s reasoning. One must be VERY careful not to assume that Paul’s reasoning is the same as the Democrat’s he is voting “with”.
I wish I could be in congress on a day like this to throw rocks, nice fist-sized rocks at those who voted “no”. If they reacted by trying to fight back I’d hog tie them then pelt them even harder.
It’s a dream that gives me great pleasure. I wish it could be a reality.
This tiger doesn't change his stripes.
(Geesh... Sometimes I REALLY wish we had an edit feature! Apologies for the typos in my last post)
And the majority of the Jewish population almost always votes for Dems. Don’t get it?
“I am surprised at Ron Pauls vote.
Even a Libertarian should recognize a states right to defend its self against attack.”
I wasn’t surprised at all that Ron Paul voted “no”. Even the ultra-lib, anti-war activists liked him. He still doesn’t even understand Islamic Terrorism 101. He believes that any terrorism against us is our fault, for meddling in the Middle East, which proves that he does not understand the Islamic extremists’ agenda at all.
The guy is a kook.
I just read his press release, and it’s rather depressing, really. While I agree with maybe 2-3 points he makes in the release it sounds more like the typical Liberal Anti-War talking points — including a line very close to “This will just make them hate us MORE...”.
Anti-Semite Democrats!
Don’t know why any Jew would EVER pull the lever for any Dim.
