Even Liberals Waking Up to Enviromental Hysteria?
Huffington Post/The Evil Conservative Blog ^ | 04 January 2008 | Evil Conservative

Posted on 01/04/2009 6:48:29 AM PST by nysuperdoodle

How long does it take for one liberal to notice the difference between fiction and reality? Apparently 10 years or so. The Evil Conservative is pleased to see that maybe not all liberals are so emotionally invested in envirofascism as to deny reality. Well, at least one isn't.

Libs waking up to the hyperbolic and unfounded assertions of the enviro-fascists? In an article carried in, of all places, the Huffington Post, Harold Ambler may be the first liberal to notice a decade of cooling temperatures on Planet Earth.

The problem that the environmental extremists are facing right now is their longevity.

Over the years, they have made certain dire predictions about the future- yet now we are in yesterday’s future and can see the accuracy of their prophesies.

Certain religious sects have made it through similar crisis when they apocalyptic visions didn’t come into fruition. Perhaps these people will too, but not without a loss of credibility.

It used to be the newspapers would file these predictions away in a futures file and check to see the progress or lack of it. Personally, I’m tired of Algore’s countdown to chaos...

No. Not kidding. It's there on huffpo and I downloaded the whole article just in case the NitWit in Chief herself actually reads it and then, of course, pulls it.

Not only is it on huffpo but it is one of the BEST, most CONCISE, most LOGICALLY PRESENTED short pieces I've ever read deconstructing the entire GoreBull Warming hoax.

You've GOT to read it:

Mr. Gore: Apology Accepted

The Millerites of the 1830’s called their failed apocalyptic vision “The Great Disappointment.”

Maybe that’s a good slogan for the envirowhackos to adopt... and we can certainly help them with that.

Some environmentalists are cultists. This will not sit well with Huffington’s enviro readers.

Liberals are just too stupid. Not ignorant, but stupid.

They revel in their lack of understanding and spend their time either trying to get stoned, high, or laid, and then get jealous of any person who works hard and uses their brains to become something in life.

They will always be led by some crazy crisis or fad because it is easier to do so and blame others for their lot in life rather than understanding and overcoming their lack of intelligence or ambition.

Well, some are not stupid, but they are blissfully ignorant of facts. };>)

The degree of stupidity by those who want to "rule by fear", and control your life from the cradle to the grave is being exposed! Looked up the religion of envirowhackism - def - Hypocrite be thy name!

I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.

—Paul Ehrlich in (1969)<

In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.

—Paul Ehrlich, Earth Day (1970)

blockquote>

If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder by the year 2000. … This is about twice what it would take to put us in an ice age.

—Kenneth E.F. Watt on air pollution and global cooling, Earth Day (1970)

There are ominous signs that the earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production—with serious political implications for just about every nation on earth. The drop in food production could begin quite soon… The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologist are hard-pressed to keep up with it.

—Newsweek, April 28, (1975)

This cooling has already killed hundreds of thousands of people. If it continues and no strong action is taken, it will cause world famine, world chaos and world war, and this could all come about before the year 2000.

—Lowell Ponte in “The Cooling”, 1976

They revel in their lack of understanding

I have a long held theory of liberals.

Liberals are persons who lack the gene humans require to process the reality of situation.

Without this gene, liberals are unable to deduce conclusions based on facts. It must remain a theory until the discovery of the specific gene but the observed evidence supporting the premise of the theory is enormous.
