How Much Longer Can They Sell Darwinism?
From Sea to Shining Sea ^ | 1/4/09 | Purple Mountains

All across the country, archeologists, paleontologists and biologists are taking part in what is perhaps the greatest example of political correctness in history – their adherence to Darwinism and their attempts to ostracize any scientist who does not agree with them. In doing so, they are not only ignoring the vast buildup of recent scientific discoveries that seriously undermines the basics of Darwinism, but they are also participating, due to politically correctness, in a belief system that indirectly resulted in the deaths of millions of people – those slaughtered by the Stalins, the Hitlers, the Maos, the Pol Pots and others who took their cue from Darwinism’s tenets.

It is making distinct that of man which is material (dust) and that of man which is immortal (soul). It is quite a simple sentiment, but I imagine it might be hard to see if you are intent on mistaking it for a literal magical creation from dust.

Yes, I know. That’s why I used an ant colony as the example. I think the model does break down when it’s applied to Humans. This has to be distressing to Scientists. Hope it doesn’t upset their tummies too badly.

Ant colonies are all clones, so the basic unit of individuality is the entire colony, not the individual ants. If you want to compare the interactions of humans with the interactions of ants, you need to look at how different colonies interact with each other.

You mean that Darwin's theory could be classified as metaphor? We aren't to take everything he said as literal after all?

js: Science isn't apologetics.

That's not an answer.

Do we take Darwin as literal or as metaphor?

How do you make the distinction? And when and why?

God did NOT say that HE made life, God said that he called for the Oceans and the Earth to bring forth life.

Except for this complicating verse....

Gen 2:7 .... the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

And you think a hot steamy primordial pot of pond scum is any less magical as origin of one single cell that heated up so much it split into two parts and then kept regenerating itself until it became 'human'. Right.

IF you recall Moses was NOT some dumb sheep herder he was raised up under the royalty of the Pharaohs and would have been keen on a bit of worldly understanding when he penned Genesis.

It's pretty obvious from the comments posted that creationists believe scientists are frauds and liars.

Not without reason. They only have themselves to blame.

Not only the frauds in archaeology in a vain attempt to put evolution beyond the shadow of any reasonable doubt, but this sort of thing as well....

Studies examine withholding of scientific data among researchers, trainees

Since no one has responded to my request for the best single argument against evolution, I'll modify the request.

Tell us what the first living cell evolved from.

Yes, this verse should give pause, obviously ignored as not fitting into the scientific methodology. Must be too literal to be acceptable.

And was Moses writing for himself? Was the message he wanted to convey the details of the early RNA world and how all things had come about due to his forbearance and infinite patience and gently guiding and yet unseen hand, such that he raised mankind from nonliving matter into a being worthy of an immortal soul; or was it that man was mere dust until God wished to bring him to life?

Go onto the prayer threads and read the testimonials and ask them if they really got healed and can confirm it.

Will you be offended or find it evidence of some sort of moral turpitude if I don't accept a post on an internet chat forum as proof that a miracle has occurred?

Out of all submissions only 25% had photo manipulation that was forbidden, and out of that 1% were actual fraud. Over 99% of cases the science was absolutely sound.

And why would people want to withhold data unless they thought it had some value because of its usefulness in explaining or predicting reality?

Scientists are a highly respected field, outside of a few people who dislike those disconcerting and uncomfortable facts that scientists keep discovering.

According to Paul Moses would have been one of those predestined to serve a purpose. Christ sure made Moses the law giver front and center of His Gospel of salvation.

And through what Luke the physician penned we have a glimpse as to when life begins at conception when that soul and its spirit intellect-persona got placed into Mary.

The Heavenly Father took the flesh remains of Moses to make darn sure that they did not become object of idol worship. Yet it was Moses along with Elijah that were shown to a few of the disciples upon the mount of transfiguration.

We alll have a soul/spirit and only some have come through this flesh age already justified as Paul describes in numerous places.

Christ said that in order to 'see' the Kingdom of God one must be born from above. Yes I know some claim the word born from above is again but that is NOT what the Greek says.

Now wonder what Moses was telling the scientific community regarding the state of body the Adam was initially created? That is before the first described surgery wherein a 'curve' was removed to create woman? What in modern science looks like a 'curve', because we sure know that man in the flesh is not missing a rib.

Why do you suppose an injury of something taken from Adam would lead to that being carried on into his descendants?

Do you think that if you had lost a finger your child would be born with nine?

Was inheritance more magical back then?

Welll I suppose I could make a case that flesh man is missing a few things but NOT the point. We are told that God said let Us make man in Our image.... So he makes the Adam and then in order to give him a help mate he removes something called a curve to make woman.

Could it be possible that the helix curve in original state was complete?
