Yes, I know. That’s why I used an ant colony as the example. I think the model does break down when it’s applied to Humans. This has to be distressing to Scientists. Hope it doesn’t upset their tummies too badly.

Ant colonies are all clones, so the basic unit of individuality is the entire colony, not the individual ants. If you want to compare the interactions of humans with the interactions of ants, you need to look at how different colonies interact with each other.

Oh good. You propose, then, to treat Humans as individuals. I’ve had discussions on this forum with people who proposed to treat individual Human action purely as a group.
