Governor Sarah Palin was satirized in Thursdays Philadelphia Mummers Parade. In the parade's Comic Division, Best Original Character , the Palin character took 17th prize under the title "Shop Till You Drop".

well, no, it won't be the free world or a free country as that is not a plank in the Dhimmicrat party (unless by free you mean free welfare money, socialized medicine et al.).

Yeah I know,but the reason he was satirized was because he cut funding for the parade so drastically,that there was a large possibilty that there was not going to be a parade this year. As Mayor, he had a direct connection with the Mummers.

Had he not done what he did, any portrayal of him would have been in a positive light.

I used to live on Two Street in Philly. They actually call it "Two Street", not Second Street because the people in South Philly are too stupid to understand ordinal numbers. The Mummers Parade assembled on Two Street right in front of my house. I can personally testify that they were almost all drunken, racist thugs.

Years ago, a friend of mine was running a tricentennial celebration for a small city in upstate New York. He contacted city officials in other small cities who had mounted similar kinds of celebrations in order to research which groups had been invited to participate in a parade. He was told in no uncertain terms to avoid any Mummers groups as they had shown up drunk and acted in a disgraceful fashion at several of these events.

Any negative depiction of a public figure by these louts should be considered a positive endorsement of that person's attributes. They general mock their betters.
