Rasmussen: Only 31% Of Democrats Back Israeli's Decision To Take Military Action

Sixty-two percent (62%) of Republicans back Israel's decision to take military action against the Palestinians, but only half as many Democrats (31%) agree. A majority of Democrats (55%) say Israel should have tried to find a diplomatic solution first, a view shared by just 27% of Republicans.

The Rats thus prove they don’t support Jews or Israel, but the Jewish vote goes overwhelmingly to the Rats.
Just goes to show that economic issues and ethnic or other issues trump support of Israel for American Jews.

And Democrats are not aware of all the summits that have been held to bring about a ‘diplomatic’ solution to the Palestinian mess? Ignorance is no excuse for the stupid opinions of the majority of Democrats.

You can be fairly certain that the annonting of "The Messiah" will bring in a CHANGE for the worse in terms of the US government's attitude toward Israel's exercise of her right to defend herself. The 'Rats are expert at government by polls and know who their constituents are.

These poll results are similar to others in recent years showing huge party differences in attitudes toward the Israel-Arab conflict.

. A majority of Democrats (55%) say Israel should have tried to find a diplomatic solution first,
So they are not only unwilling to understand the enemy, but completely ignorant of Israel's actions. Israel tired to negotiate, and even let over 200 prisoners go a week before the ceasefire was ended by Hamas.

Excerpts:
As a student of a Catholic high school, the Sisters of Loretta taught me, I am pleased to be at an institution of higher education with such strong and celebrated Catholic and Jesuit traditions . . . You see, I got my Master's Degree at Notre Dame. (Boos.) I acquired a passion for the fighting Irish . . . and my family has been college educated and Presbyterian ever since. (Laughter and applause.) . . . I wandered into a course on international politics taught by a Czech refugee who specialized in Soviet studies, a man who had a daughter by the name of Madeleine Albright. With that one class, I was hooked. I discovered that my passion was Russia and all things Russian.

...but there are 38% Republicans against Israel defending itself? The % of Republicans favoring Israel using "diplopmatic efforts first" was 27%, not 38%. I presume the other 11% didn't opt for either choice given them by the lefty pollster or had no opinion.
To: rmlew
So they are not only unwilling to understand the enemy...Some of them don't consider the Hamas terrorists to be the enemy, so wouldn't even try to understand them as such.
Israel tried to negotiate...
Of course, Israel tried to negotiate. Israel has been trying to negotiate with Arab entities since its founding. History has proven that Arabs negotiate seriously only when their military position is too weak to make war.

Where is Rahm Emanuel during all this?Although his father is Israeli and fought for Israel's independence, rest assured that Emanuel knows that his job in the "Osama" Obama White House is not to advocate for Israel's defense and security. That comes with the territory.

Although his father is Israeli and fought for Israel's independence, rest assured that Emanuel knows that his job in the "Osama" Obama White House is not to advocate for Israel's defense and security. That comes with the territory.Considering what Emanuel did during the Clinton administration, I understand that.
I'm asking where literally is Rahm Emanuel? Where is the guy? Has he issued any statements? Is he saying anything about the situation at all?
It's like he's slipped into the Twilight Zone.

If your point in making all those links is to say that the W administration has been consistently anti-Israel, it's just not true, especially if you compare this to what's in store under an "Osama" Obama administration.
As to the current conflict, you see a distinct difference in tone between the statements coming out of the Bush White House and what little is coming out of the Obama camp.
And anyone who couldn't see McCain's background and history as portending a more favorable US policy toward Israel vs. Arabs and/or Iran - as opposed to Obama's background and history - was either dumb, didn't care, or wasn't paying attention.
The reasons for Jews' pro-'Rat vote as a group include (1)addiction to the 'Rats as passed on generation to generation largely by historical myths, (2) indifference to Israel, (3) pro-left political propaganda, including "sermons" by many in the Reform rabbinate, passing for "Judaism," and (4) Jews' tendency to live in areas surrounded by predominantly 'Rat neighbors.
