Sixty-two percent (62%) of Republicans back Israel's decision to take military action against the Palestinians, but only half as many Democrats (31%) agree. A majority of Democrats (55%) say Israel should have tried to find a diplomatic solution first, a view shared by just 27% of Republicans.

That's right, it has nothing to do with Israel and everything to do with the idea that our enemies can be placated with diplomacy. Which is a far greater threat to the US than Israel.

Its because the jews in America are not the same as Jews in isreal. Ours are pampered America hating liberals that want to destroy us with the ACLU, they even hate isreal.
This really is not a surprise. Most liberal Democrats also oppose gun ownership and the right of Americans to defend themselves in their own homes.
