You know all that stuff about Tony Romo not being a big-game quarterback? Well, maybe there's some merit to that after all.

Jerry Jones needs to step down and hire an outside GM who’ll do a thorough housecleaning of the organization. The Cowboys have made some bone-headed moves. Trading your 1st & 3rd round draft picks for a mediocre Lions receiver, for starters. Signing a thug with a rap sheet a mile long. Having an owner who suffocates his coaches where they have to look over their shoulder after every loss. Well, the good news is that they’ll have a new stadium instead of playing in that stupid toilet bowl.

As a Texan, I can say there is nothing better than seeing the Cowboys get their butts kicked and miss the playoffs.

A good start would be cleansing the roster of some of the scum bags Jerry's assembled. Pac Man Jones, T.O., etc.

In Jerry Jones’ rush to create “The World Famous Super Team” he's added a few cancerous players that have a ton of ability, yet are still a net loss.

I don't even know if Romo is NOT the answer, he well could be.

The Cowboys have one hell of a defense, and look only a couple players short of a legit Super Bowl team, and with the way they've been drafting lately, 2009 could be it. So long as there's a jettisoning of the cancerous players who poison the club house.

But heck, even if you go 3-13, you can always comfort yourselves with the fact that you don't have Danny Snider running your team.

Once I hated the Redskins. Now I weep for their fans.

I go back with the Cowboys a loooong way:

This is a photo of Dan Reeves when he was the starting halfback for the Cowboys back in 1969. I was fourteen. It was before their first Super Bowl appearance. It was a "meet and greet" at one of the local companies my family worked with.

Boy, I hated to see the Pokes blow it like that, but they played like they were bystanders at a drive by shooting.

There is no comparing the players from back then with the crybabies of today.

“Eagles/Steelers Super Bowl? That would be cool.”

Rendell would be in heaven with all the media attention.

I almost wish I was a Detroit Lions fan today. At least they play with heart and guts.

And we got your draft picks.

Seeing the Pats and Cowboys miss the playoffs is just awesome. A late Christmas present!

For some unknown, mysterious reason many people have for a few years considered Romo to be a top quality quarterback. He is nothing of the sort, he is probably the most overrated player in the NFL. He has zero leadership qualities, seems to shrink under pressure in most cases, and has no heart.
This was an unknown small college quarterback who was thrust into the “big time” with zero qualifications or experience, and Dallas fans are getting about what they should expect with him.

Absolutely! And my Chargers managed to sneak in there somehow...even better!

I wouldn’t just blame Romo. I put more blame on the toxic chemistry created by having bi-polar attention whores like TO and thugs like PacMan there to distract from the mission of the team.
And Jerry Jones sticking his nose in every single call made by the coaches and micromanaging everything they do. More un-necessary distraction.

“He has zero leadership qualities, seems to shrink under pressure in most cases, and has no heart.”

Danny White without the punting abilities. Dallas never won a SB with White and never will with Romo.

the problem starts at the top... Jerry Jones is an asshat. He thinks he's a coach and he thinks he's a GM.

Well he hasn't been sh#t since Jimmy Johnson left. His only chance was letting Parcels coach but he wanted to "co-coach" and Parcels told him "bye".

The only coaches that will work for him are rubes...

The Cowboys QUIT. Neither tackle wanted to move his feet and Romo pussed out as usual. The way he's done from the blown field goal, the last play interception last year and the drama queen antics about a F'ing little finger this year.

How about this Romo... sack up , shut up and win.

I'm a Cowboy fan, but they are turning into a bunch of p#ssies. Whitten, Choice, Marion Barber and the defense have some stones, the rest are drama queens and need the boot.

But first Jerry Jones needs to keep his a## up in the owner's box, drink scotch, bang cheerleaders and STFU!!!

He's a wanna-be coach and is ruining the Cowboys. We're stuck with a 65 million dollar quarterback that has won as many playoff games as I have....NONE. Holy Crap, what a butt whipping the Eagles laid on us. I still can't sit down from that beat down.

Good luck in the playoffs, Eagles.... ya jerks... I hate you.... but dang it ya beat the snot out of us.

As bad as he is, I'd still be willing to swap John York (a.k.a. Mr. Denise DeBartolo) for Jerry Jones.
